very first star wars comic way back in 1977, the marvel run of issues set
the standard for sci-fi fantasy comics. with it's first issues
ranking as marvels highest selling single issue of the 70's. with sales
well north of 1,000,000 copies, the marvel titles inspired thousands of
children to read, write and draw star wars. in the modern days of
the expanded universe it may be harder and harder to explain the presence
of some of these stories, but the 107 issue marvel run will always hold a
special place in the hearts of the original generation of star wars fans. |
