>>>Back in May, when George Lucas was a guest on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, O'Brien brought out Star Wars trivia fan Jordan who asked 'Who was choked out by Darth Vader in Star Wars?' When Lucas replied "Conan Antonio Motti." the answer to a long asked question was finally answered.  In honour of this, artist Kevin Graham has allowed this Topps 30th anniversary image to be shown on both Admiral Motti and the awesome Imperial Chicks site.  Share and enjoy.

Conan Antonio Motti

Wednesday 15th August 2007
>>>Artist Kevin Graham, in honour of the naming of Admiral Motti, drew this brilliant image for our great friends over at Imperial Chicks.  And even the great man himself is weighing in on the topic.  "As to Motti getting a first and middle name, I couldn't be happier with your choice and George's nod," states Richard. "The entire name is fabulous and Antonio contains a certain romantic air of mystery and danger."  Here here, great choice of name, and here's to all the fan fiction and artwork it inspires.

"Would you stop choking if I told you I was wearing fluffy slippers?"

Saturday 4th August 2007
>>>There was a great battle back at Celebration Europe.  Not only did Jedi and Sith clash in the Battle of the Bridge, but young Ty had a number of Lightsabre battles, one of which was caught here on film as he took on Admiral Motti designer Louis Turfrey in a sparring match.

Sunday 22nd July 2007

>>>Cynthia Cummens is a widely acclaimed artist, and a regular contributor to both the official site and the Insider.  As well as this she also draws trading cards, and shown here are a selection of her 30th Anniversary Sketch Cards from Topps.  We think the one on the top left may be of interest to our intrepid readers...

The Admiral enjoyed his brief stint on Hollywood Squares...

Thursday 7th June 2007
>>>It's amazing where an infamous Imperial Admiral can turn up.  Ads for throat lozenges, ads telling people to keep their phones switched off at the cinema.  Now we find the Admiral schmoozing to the sounds of Manamana by the Muppets.  See if you can spot him, and ten house points to the first person to email in and tell us who the clearly misplaced Star Trek character is.

Thursday 31st May 2007
>>>You may ask "What relevance specifically does an interview between George Lucas and Conan O Brien have to the official Richard Leparmentier website?" Well, watch this clip about 5 minutes in and you'll see why.  Thanks to our good friends over at JediNet for putting this together.

>>>We bring you some new artwork sent to us from Inna Metayer, better known as Fornarina.  This image, which you can view in the fan fiction and artwork section, features our intrepid Admiral and is yet another excellent addition to our burgeoning art section.

>>>Otis Frampton is one of the many amazing artists involved with the new Star Wars: 30th Anniversary Trading Card set from Topps.  There are a large number of fantastic characters depicted in the set, and of prime interest to readers of this site is our own Admiral Motti.  Yes, that's the caricature of Richard "Ach!"-ing his way into film infamy.  Check out the set as it's released, and make sure to ask Richard to sign your card when you bump into him at the next convention.

Top middle - it's the Admiral and he's found the penny in the Christmas pudding...

Saturday 28th April 2007
>>>On Monday 23rd April 2007, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences screened Star Wars as part of their Great to Be Nominated series. Before the start of the show, they showed a special clip as a message of warning to members in the audience, and if you really want to watch what happens to annoying mobile users, Motti style, click here.  But be warned - this technological terror is not to be trifled with...

Sunday 22nd April 2007
>>>George Lucas has always said that Star Wars could be viewed as a silent movie, the films images being vivid and vibrant enough to carry the narrative of the story.  Well, now it's here in the form of Silent Star Wars.  Watch, enjoy and look out for the Admiral.

Saturday 14th April 2007
>>>Richard and the gang here at Admiral Motti know this already, but apparently Wizard Universe have spent 2 months in union with a number of other major websites including IMDB to answer 30 questions commemorating the 30th anniversary of the greatest space fantasy of all.  And, coming in at number 12 was this:  "What was the best Darth Vader moment in Star Wars history?"  Was there ever any doubt?

>>>An unusual one for you all today, this was found during a random Google browse.  We believe it's from a book, and an old one at that as it refers to General Motti and not Admiral Motti, but if anyone out there can track down precisely what this is from we would be most grateful.

"Lord Vader, that hands on hips pose is really working for you...gasp!"

Saturday 24th March 2007

>>>Hello and welcome to Admiral Motti's new website.  It was definitely time for a change and the new site has a sense of humor unlike the grey Imperial looking MK1 website.   It has caught Motti's essence perfectly.  There is the other side of Motti; he's not just the sadistic, cruel Commander of the Death Star vaporising planets with his devil may care sneer.
There is the other side of the Admiral, the witty, effervescent Admiral renowned for his numerous soirees, cocktail parties and private dinners hosted in his lavish private quarters.
My thanks to Mark Newbold and the team at Lightsabre and many thanks to Dan Biesel for the superb web artwork.  I especially like the image of Motti shoving The Force right back where it belongs.
And a very special thanks to all the Imperial babes at
Imperial Chicks.  Hope to see you at Celebration 4.
Please feel free to get in contact with me at the site.  I will answer all sane questions and the insane questions as well.

Long Live the Empire

>>>It's not often one has to keep such close tabs on his boss, but when that boss happens to be the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader, it's not a bad idea.  This coming July at Celebration Europe, David Prowses Darth Vader and Ray Parks Darth Maul are among the guests lining the autograph halls, wowing the thousands of visitors at the Excel Arena in London.  Joining them are the three Fett actors Jeremy Bulloch, Daniel Logan and Temeura Morrison, reunited after their Celebration 4 appearance.  It's set to be an amazing weekend.

>>>Frank Cho has long been admired for his amazing artwork, and especially now he has leapt into the forefront of readers minds with his runs on the New Avengers, Shanna The She-Devil and the forthcoming Mighty Avengers.  But Cho will always be best remembered for his continuing work on Liberty Meadows, and from that strip comes two great panels, one because of the obvious, and the second...let's just suggest you check them out for yourselves.
Saturday 3rd March 2007
>>>There are moments in pop culture that are unsurpassable.  Marilyn Monroe singing happy birthday to JFK and Band Aid in the 80's for example.  But here we present another ground shaking moment - The Elvis Trooper meeting Richard, as well as crossing paths with Mas Amedda himself Jerome Blake.  And not to be outdone by these momentous meetings, young Tyrone finds himself in a clinch with two particularly attentive Princess Leia's and well...not a lot needs to be said about the final image...
>>>While it may have been a dark day for the Rebellion it was even worse for Admiral Motti.  Not only did he mange to get blown to smithereens in the Battle of Yavin, he also had an unfortunate encounter with a Sith Lord and a happy meal.  Click here or on the image below to find out why...

Try as he might, the Admiral couldn't find the gherkins anywhere...
