>>>a site dedicated to reeling out a bevy of scantily clad beauties can't be all bad, can it?  of course not, and to prove that fact here is leia's metal bikini, the very site that brings beautiful young women to your screens every day dressed only in a bit of shaped metal and some scant material.  and to think, what other justification does any self-respecting boy or girl need than "it's a star wars site!"

>>>our look at selected characters of importance from the history of the setnin sector continues with admiral korne lans, the man who stepped out of the shadow of his superior officer grand moff treece and forged his own, sector-changing destiny that culminated with a fateful encounter over amagad...

admiral korne lans

Second-in-command to Moff Treece at the Imperial garrison on Chancai.  Lans was at the Academy on Carida with Treece, the two of them rising through the ranks at the same pace until Lans became Treeces staff sergeant.  So it stayed until Treece hit the fast track and raced ahead of his colleague.  Taking the position of aide to the Moff, Lans had to swallow his pride, arrogant as Treece was.  Hard working and dutiful Lans believed strongly in the concepts and precepts of the New Order, a belief that was recognised after Treeces apparent death on Soluman when Lans was given a promotion in rank to Admiral.  With the return of Treece from Soluman, Lans gave him the Trefnarian Stormtrooper Project to head up, a twenty-year-old project involving the cloning of Stormtroopers from the pure unsullied DNA of Trefnarians.  After the end of the Galactic Civil War Lans agreed to buy the legendary starship Heed from the ganglord Glann Cipple, only to see the ship decay in its orbit after the loss of its powerful Janos Jewel drive and crash into the ocean just off the city of Amagad.  Believing himself to have been betrayed, Lans ordered his Star Destroyers to bombard the city, reducing it to dust.

>>>star wars fan lori jareo is certainly an enterprising fan.  listing her book, another hope, on amazon.com, she has managed to raise the ire of lucasfilm.  the self-published and unauthorized novel was ordered to be removed from sale on april 24 but as of april 25 the book remained on sale.  "we recently found out about the book, and the author has agreed to cease and desist," said spokeswoman lynne hale. "there's nothing more that we have to say." asked whether jareo had removed the listing, hale added: "yes...she was happy to do it." jareo doesn't believe her book violates copyright: "no, because i wrote this book for myself. this is a self-published story and is not a commercial book. yes, it is for sale on amazon, but only my family, friends and acquaintances know it's there."  it's unclear how jareo got another hope listed on amazon.com, and a spokesman for the company did not respond.

yaboko

Head of the Niekon, a tribe of humanoids who lived in the jungles of Zelon for thousands of generations.  Yaboko aimed to be a responsible leader and hoped to begin a meaningful dialogue with the Chancai authorities, but it was soon made clear that the massive trade hall wanted even more lush forest and vegetation pulled down for their extensions, so the Niekon tribe became a militant, terrorist group.  Knowing there was a price on his head, and fully aware of the Imperial garrisons springing up throughout the forest, Yaboko aimed to bring the situation to a suitable conclusion.

trace dallagra

A long standing friend and legal ally of Jan Lomona and the sister of Glann Cipples Chancai operative, the late Boba Dallagra.  Trace operated from the offices of her own successful legal firm, Dallagra Lawyer Services (Level 9, Northside, Unit 890), and was never short of clients.  She handled almost all of Glann Cipples affairs through Chancai, checking for illegalities that could be spotted, and handled the cases of many of her brother’s colleagues.  Well respected throughout the legal community she continued to make a name for herself as a professional before accepting the position of being Governor Ocern Gabe’s aid in the Chamber of Systems on the Zelonian moon of Benesk, and replacing him upon his capture at the hands of the Ki-Ki during the fall of Chancai.

>>>our look at selected characters of importance from the history of the setnin sector continues with ocern gabe, the famed smuggler who, on the verge of retirement, became the senior politician in setnin during the ki-ki crisis...

governor ocern gabe

Former smuggler also known as Bree Goator and a member of the Ishi Tibb race.  Formally the owner of the starship Daknene, he later piloted the Salern, and worked the safer lanes.  Used by Glann Cipple on occasion because of his vast knowledge of the underworld, Gabe was once the primary smuggler employed by the ganglord Duze Jostenn.  A regular co-pilot of Jan Lomona and an employee of the Trac-Tran Transit Company, Gabe intended to retire many years ago but his reputation persistently kept pulling back to the space-lanes.  Gabe was present on the Breemarr Station when the Devlin’s Island incident occurred and finally, on the verge of retirement, Gabe accepted the position of Governor of Chancai, a lofty position that he took with relish and vigour, even during the attack on the city by the combined forces of Zobian Pirates, Arcc Nedeen and Glann Cipple.  Later Gabe became Governor of the Setnin Sector, signing the prestigious Re-integration Treaty with the New Republic and leading the sector during the war against the Ki-Ki Sector.   Prepared to use his knowledge of the underworld, and the ties he still had with them, he was at first opposed to the election of Tannis Rixx as leader of the unified Setnin Defence Force, but later backed down ands saw the sense in his election.  After the fall of Chancai, Gabe was taken as a political prisoner by the Ki-Ki, signing the surrender treaty and leaving Trace Dallagra in charge of Setnin affairs until his release near the end of the conflict.
