>>>star trek actor james doohans ashes have finally been given their blast off into the final frontier.  as per his wishes the veteran actor, who died back in 2005, had his remains launched in a 6 meter long rocket into the heavens.  doohan, who portrayed the scottish engineer on star trek between 1966 and his final screen appearance as scotty in 1994's star trek generations, would certainly have approved of his last flight.

Younger brother of the ganglord Dessio D’Staan.  Dutrioh led a much less successful life than his elder brother, hijacking passenger liners and family freighters while his brother and partners were establishing a stranglehold on the Setnin underworld.  Adversarial and combative, Dutrioh was never afraid to speak his mind, a trait that brought him into a very public confrontation with Riger – a clash which eventually proved to be his downfall.  After stealing two million credits from a cruiser bound for Zelon Riger, then operating as the bounty hunter Queed took the bounty and finally killed Dutrioh by trapping him in Queeds ship the ManTrap and triggering the self-destruct.

>>>the flannelled one george lucas divulged a little more about the soon to start shooting fourth indiana jones movie.  speaking to usa today lucas revealed that the new film will see indy as active as ever.  "he's not running in any of the movies, he's either on a horse or driving a car or a motorcycle. and he'll play his age in this movie with what's appropriate. the chases are more suspenseful than speedy. like the rolling ball in the first film — it's not that he's running that fast, it's that there's a giant ball coming at him. and he will get beat up, which is a tradition for us."  lucas also mentioned that while sean connery is not yet signed up to the role of henry jones sr "we're still trying.", as well as a mention of the films leading lady cate blanchett.   "that's who my director wanted, and i always bow to the wishes of my director.  i approved it because she seemed like a good idea. when i met her at the academy awards, i told her, 'hey, you work for me now!' add to this the news of the trailer debuting in november, along with the title of the film it makes for a busy news day for indy.

>>>george lucas spoke recently with usa today about the forthcoming indiana jones 4, filming around the world, including shooting time in the uk this july.  the paper learned that the first trailer hits the net in november, along with the title of the 3rd sequel, that cate blanchett's role is as yet unspecified but that the oscar winning actress was director steven spielberg's choice.  "that's who my director wanted and i always bow to my director.  i approved her because she seemed like a good idea."  talks with sean connery are progressing, but nothing is as yet finalised and the film features a sequence set at a waterfall location.  it seems that while we bask in the glory of star wars' 30th year, the sagas creators are hard at work furnishing us with another classic tale for 2008.  how lucky are we?
