>>>our look at selected characters of importance from the history of the setnin sector continues with torona formoon, the former employee of jabba the hutt who struck out on his own in the setnin sector and built a deadly reputation...

torona formoon

Stockily built human ganglord with striking features.  Formoon was born on Branta and once worked as one of Jabba the Hutts Mid-Rim lieutenants.  Striking out to make a name for himself in the Setnin Sector, Formoon left Tatooine permanently and travelled to Setnin, basing himself on the planet Moot. With many enemies, including the canine gunman Galindro, Formoon profited greatly after the Hutts demise, absorbing some of Jabba’s outlying assets into his already successful operation. Cold, cultured and calculated Formoon was a genius at computer code breaking, having been the only member of Moff Treeces ganglord group to break any of the decryption of the disc stolen from Glann Cipples Fortress, accomplishing it himself. Formoon was responsible for the kidnapping and brutal assault of Frans Latka whilst she was romantically involved with Goah Galletti. Galletti located and rescued her but was captured and tortured himself.  Saving himself from a fiery death over molten lava pit Galletti swore revenge on Formoon and his lieutenants.  Three years later he gained a measure of that revenge when he infiltrated Formoons base in a Carbonite block, killing many of Formoons men and sending Formoon back to Jabba in a carbonite block.  Years later, after the death of Boba Dallagra at Formoons hands on Moot, Galletti gained his ultimate revenge by blasting Formoons shuttle with an ion cannon, disrupting his engines and heat shields.  The slow death endured by the ganglord was similar to that which he had devised for the assassin Galletti, and Galletti made sure Formoon knew it - he followed Formoons ship right down to the lowest possible point and veered away as it crashed, Formoon being able to see the Phoenix alongside him all the way down to his death.

>>>our look at selected characters of importance from the history of the setnin sector continues with ade lomona, uncle of jan lomona and a key player in the history of the setnin sector underworld...

ade lomona

Uncle of Jan Lomona and the only member of his family apart from his cousin Sharn Retgarr to give him support and encouragement in any of his smuggling or personal endeavours.  The youngest brother of Narn Giapa Lomona, Ade never supported the Empire or its ways, preferring instead to remain neutral. In his younger days Ade worked for the Setnin ganglord Duze Jostenn, alongside Glann Cipple, Dessio D’Staan and Anak Arkensaw, foster father of Luschia Arkensaw.  Ade double-crossed Duze, leaving the sector with millions of credits in stolen treasure, but returned for his nephew Jan’s naming ceremony, a brave act that gained Jostenn admiration.   Never marrying, Ade was always there to give his youngest nephew support, at swoop races when Jan was a boy right up to Jan’s mature years as a smuggler and free trader.  During the Ki-Ki/Setnin War Ade, despite being in his mid-nineties, was still giving sage advice to his sixty-six year old nephew.
