The dreaded Janos Executioners enforce all. Regarding all aliens as trouble, Janites are a guarded race, believing their beliefs and culture to be the `true way’.  Tall and lean with all-white eyes and strange, scaly colourisations running down their backs, Janites have thin wiry red hair.  They share the planet with the much more timid Grogs.  The surface of Janos is covered by sparse red deserts and rocky plains, which stretch on, for endless kilometres.  Spread over three vast continents the population of Janos is concentrated in rural areas, the urban areas being only mildly inhabited

>>>we continue our look at worlds of importance from the history of the setnin sector with irata, a world known for pirate activity all through setnins history...

irata

Setnin Sector world where Bob Topal, pirate working for Tralat Durge and the Trac-Tran Transit Company was arrested by local militia for attempted piracy whilst operating with a legal trade license.  A planet largely covered with oceans and waterfalls, Irata was the world where Ryath Centaur was dragged out of hyperspace in his starship the Thunderchild by the Interdictor Voracious.  Orbited by an unnamed satellite, the moon was once a base for pirates back in the days of the Republic.  A Jedi Knight discovered the base and a squad of Republic cruisers routed the pirates from their hideout.  Despite its being deserted for decades the defence systems were still lethally operational – as the commander of the Voracious found out.
