One of a group of triplets, sons of Baron Pede Familee and Baroness Julid Familee. Bought up in a world of care and safety, Yedda had to deal with the outside worlds as best he could when his world was turned upside down. He was caring and thoughtful, as taught by his father, but slowly began to realise that these virtues wouldn’t serve him well off Chinngard. Along with his brother Corri, Yedda hid on Amagad throughout much of the war, coming back into the limelight in the fortress of the Cipple sisters.

Human female pirate and member of Tralat Durges pirate gang around the Ruuthorne System.  Josch was not best pleased when Durge decided to throw in with the smuggler Jan Lomona and lease his pirate concern out to the Trac-Tran Transit Company.  Josch eventually came to lead the pirate concern known as Durges Devils, and during the Ki-Ki/Setnin War she helped form the Setnin Defence Force, voting for Tannis Rixx as its leader.

Owner of the huge pier that juts out of the side of a mountain on Luronsa IV, covered with casinos and gambling dens.  Jotacsa was a good friend and business associate of Duze Jostenn. Ade Lomona and Anak Arkensaw travelled there during the Sun Colour Festival to get Jotacsa to bankroll their new mining enterprise, but he isn’t interested.  In truth, Jotacsa was running slaves, drugs and weapons through the pier and was planning the assassination of Jostenn, and attempt that failed.

Ex-conman and Imperial Prison Officer on the planet of Cawbate, who was in the secret employ of the ganglord Dressel.  Aided by his bodyguard Hoobsy, Happs officiated with an iron hand.  Prior to this, Happs was chief of Police on the planet Viron where he came into contact with the assassin Goah Galletti who blasted his left arm off in a shootout.

Elderly judge of Amagadian descent who was in the pocket of the ganglord Glann Cipple.  A well-respected public servant, Tarainnew was the head of the Amagadian Chamber of Justice for over thirty years and was in charge of the polling during Cipples election battle with his employee Exxob, the actor who believed that he could win an election battle against the ganglord.  Tarainnew was found dead in his luxury estate on the side of Mount Fava on the morning of the election, and therefore was unable to affect the way of the vote in Cipples favour
