ROGUE SQUADRON TIMELINE

The roster of the infamous rogue squadron altered significantly throughout the years, from its roots as red squadron at the Battle of Yavin to the time of the New Jedi Order.  Beginning its life as the unit that took on the Death Star battle station, Red Squadron attained legend status, ably assisted by talisman pilot Luke Skywalker.  Through the battle of Hoth, the Battle of Gall and the stand at Bakura rogue squadron fought everything that was thrown against it…

Twenty-four years before Battle of Yavin

-          Biggs Darklighter born on Tatooine.

-          Tycho Celchu born on Alderaan.

The Han Solo Trilogy - The Paradise Snare

-          Han Solo enters the Imperial Academy at Carida. There he meets and trains with Soontir Fel and Loka Hask.

-          Gavin Darklighter born on Tatooine.

Seven years before Battle of Yavin

-          Han Solo graduates valedictorian and Soontir Fel graduates salutarian from the Imperial Academy at Carida.

Three years before Battle of Yavin

-          The Maw Installation is built.

-          Jagged and Zena Antilles are killed at their fueling depot in outer Gus Treta in the Corellian Sector after pirate captain Loka Hask ignites part of the station in an attempt to escape from the Corellian Security Force. They are survived by their son Wedge and daughter Syal.

Two years before Battle of Yavin

-          Corellian smuggler Booster Terrik is arrested by Corellian Security Force officer Hal Horn. Terrik is sentenced to five years imprisonment on Kessel. Booster Terrik spends five years on Kessel before his release

One year before Battle of Yavin

-          Admiral Ackbar was rescued from Imperial slavery by Rebel agents.

-          Biggs Darklighter enrolls at the Imperial Academy at Prefsbelt IV where he meets Derek "Hobbie" Klivan. Tycho Celchu is in the same class and all are trained by Captain Soontir Fel.

-          Iella Wessiri joins the Corellian Security Forces.

-          Biggs and Hobbie graduate and are assigned to the Rand Ecliptic. Working with a rebel cell on Ralltir, they take control of the ship and join up with the Rebellion.

1-BBY - The Farlander Papers

-          Keyan Farlander joins the Rebel Alliance starfighter corps. After training he fleies numerous mssions and discovers a degree of Force sensitivity before flying at the Battle at Yavin.  Farlander flew the Y-Wing seen leaving the exploding Death Star in Star Wars: A New Hope.

-          Imperial commandos and ex-Alliance extremists battle over the famous holodrama star Garik "Face" Loran. Loran is injured in the fight, escaping on his own, leading to reports of his "death".

-          Alderaan destroyed by the Death Star. Biggs is reunited with Luke Skywalker who meets Wedge Antilles for the first time.

Galaxy of Fear: Planet Plague

-          Wedge along with other rebel agents try to get off the planet Golbrindi with valuable information on its Imperial Biological Weapons Division. Stopping them is an Imperial blockade with a plan to infect the entire planet with a deadly virus.

FORMATION OF ROGUE SQUADRON

-          Rogue Squadron forms. Luke Skywalker forms the unit six months after the Battle of Yavin. General Carlist Rieekan often accompanies the new unit in a supervisory capacity, usually travelling with ground troops.

0+ABY - Ambush at Mos Eisley

-          Luke Skywalker leads Rogue Squadron to his home planet of Tatooine and saves Mos Eisley from Imperial bombardment.

0+ABY - Rendezvous on Barkhesh

-          Rogue Squadron escorts a convoy of badly needed equipment and supplies through the Imperial-occupied canyons of Barkhesh.

0+ABY - The Search for the Nonnah

-          Flying A-wings, Rogue Squadron battle Imperial forces over the lakes of Chorax, buying time for the crew of the Nonnah to be rescued. General Rieekan is the commanding officer.

0+ABY - Defection at Corellia

-          Rogue Squadron, flying T-47 Airspeeders or snowspeeders aid General Rieekan's forces in the defection of Imperial officer Crix Madine. Han Solo and Chewbacca provide assistance with the Millenium Falcon.

0+ABY - Liberation of Gerrad V

-          General Crix Madine leads a Y-wings and Rogue Squadron in liberating the planet Gerrad V and captures Imperial "ace" Kasan Moor. Moor, an Alderaanian, would join the Rebel Alliance and fly with Rogue Squadron on a series of missions against hidden Imperial strongholds.

One year after Battle of Yavin

1+ABY - The Jade Moon

-          Kasan Moor, having defected after her capture, leads Rogue Squadron to the moon of Loronar, home to construction facilities where the Empire's biggest warships and special weapons platforms are built.

1+ABY - Imperial Construction Yards

-          Kasan Moor leads Rogue Squadron to Balmorra, a factory planet at the Outer Edge of the Galactic Core in the Nevoota System that builds advanced weapons.

1+ABY - Assault on Kile II

-          Wedge Antilles is captured during Rogue Squadron's attack on the Imperial Enclave, an enormous facility that supports the Empire's naval operations.

1+ABY - Rescue on Kessel

-          Luke Skywalker leads Rogue Squadron to rescue Wedge Antilles from an armoured hover train transporting Imperial prisoners across the surface of Kessel.

1+ABY - Prisons of Kessel

-          After being rescued himself, Wedge Antilles reveals where other Rebel agents are being held on Kessel. Rogue Squadron fly cover for General Rieekan and his ground troops in a rescue attempt.

-          The Bakura System is annexed by the Empire.

Two years after Battle of Yavin

-          Kirtan Loor becomes Imperial Liaison Officer to the Corellian Security Force. Kirtan Loor becomes the Corellian Security Force's liaison.

Three years after Battle of Yavin

-          Former Imperial Navy pilot Tycho Celchu joins the Rebel Alliance.

-          Booster Terrik is released from the Imperal prison on Kessel after serving a five-year sentence for smuggling.

-          A Rebel Alliance convoy on the way to Hoth is attacked at Derra IV by an Imperial squadron including Major Soontir Fel and 181st Squadron. All personnel were killed, including Commander Narra, commander of Red Squadron. Luke is promoted to Commander.

-          Rogue Squadron pilot Tycho Celchu infiltrats Coruscant in a stolen Imperial TIE Fighter only to be captured and sent to Lusankya. He later escapes imprisonment to return to the squadron

-          Corellian Security Force agents Corran Horn, Gil Bastra, Iella Wessiri and Diric Wessiri flee Corellia to escape Imperial agent Kirtan Loor.

Six years after Battle of Yavin

-          Diric Wessiri is captured by Imperial agents and held captive for a year before being rescued by New Republic forces.

-          New Republic forces drive Imperial forces from the Pyria system.

Seven years after Battle of Yavin

-          Wedge is at the Xyquine fiasco when Pash Cracken comes up with the "Cracken Twist," a method for disguising transmissions of hyperspace destinations.

-          Luke, Wedge and Lando Calrissian return to Coruscant only to crash the Alliance Star Destroyer Liberator into the planet's surface.

-          The Battle of Calamari. Wedge co-captains the Star Destroyer Emancipator with Lando Calrissian. Knave Squadron debuted the E-wing starfighter against the Imperial World Devastators.

-          Wedge plans and leads troops to the Imperial planet Byss.
