NHP Star Wars Audio - Cassette Covers

from 1986 through to 1988 newbold hicks productions built up a vast library of star wars audio dramas, since discovered to be among the first of its kind anywhere in fandom.  unfortunately, during a house move back in 1990 the entire collection was lost, leaving only snippets of scenes and clips scattered around various compilation tapes in the nhp archives.
presented here are concept covers for some of those cassettes, along with jewel of janos, the only surviving actual cover.
Jan Lomona: The Solo Runs - Second Son - Recorded on 2nd/5th/6th November 1987 Story - Mark Newbold.  This sketch by Jonathan Hicks would have been the cover to Second Son.  Taking more care with the covers than the standard NHP covers, the Star Wars covers took much longer, including logo design and concept.
Jan Lomona: The Solo Runs - With Friends Like That - Recorded on 9th/13th/16th November 1987 Story - Mark Newbold.  Again by Jonathan, this Jan Lomona story would have likely been drawn by Mark from a Jonathan concept.
Two unrecorded stories, planned for recording but never completed.  Throwing it all Away was the fourth and final episode in the Jan Lomona - Solo Runs stories, and Lost on Hoth would have been an audio version of a story Jonathan wrote whilst at school, written in the same lesson as Marks Lost in the Dunes of Tatooine.  Lost on Hoth was later converted into a Lightsabre short story back in 1999.
Goah Galletti Story Part Three - Jewel of Janos - Recorded on 12th/13th/14th November 1986 Story - Jonathan Hicks.  The cover, drawn by Mark Newbold, also included details of the following story The Death Star Chronicles.
Detailed here we can see many of the details included on a standard NHP cassette, including credits, chapter and recording dates.  This rang true for almost all the NHP archive, including the comedy tapes, giving a detailed history of the audio era.
Another concept idea, started by Mark for the unrecorded The Zelon Factor story.  A very different styling of logo, this would have been a cover driven by the lettering and logo.
Here we have a page of logo designs by Mark, laying out the proposed logos for the forthcoming cassettes.  Of the tales here, only Second Son and Ferrerean Warriors - the final NHP audio story -  were recorded.  Error on Entall and Escapade on Entall were plotted but never recorded, as was The Zelon Factor.
