2007 was an amazing year for Star Wars, with two huge Celebration conventions and a second Reunion in France.  But what exactly is involved in physically setting up one of these conventions?
From the camera of event co-ordinator Barry Eldridge we present some of the behind-the-scenes shots of the ExCel Arena just a few hours before the show, as the July 13th-15th spectacular was being put together...

  The days prior to the convention

Barry - "Before the madness. The empty venue on day one of build up"

Barry - "More day one build up."

Barry - "Props from the amazing Belgian Garrison of the 501st Arrive. Two 40ft Lorries worth... one of the strangest cargos ever!"
Barry - "Ever wondered how an AT-AT was transported?"
Barry - "This will be Dagobah...with a bit of Weird & Wonderful Magic."
Barry - "Tantive IV corridor flat pack - new from Ikea!"
Barry - "Theatre under construction."
