celebration europe - unseen photo's
Compiled by Mark Newbold. Photographs by Paul Squire

If you are anything like me then you are sitting there wondering what has happened to the past 365 days.  Can it really be a whole year since Celebration Europe?

That amazing three days kickstarted so many things that are still continuing today.  It marked the beginning of great friendships with a bunch of brilliant fellow fans - Iain Armstrong, Anthony Harding, Chris Gereke and Dave Tree to name just a few - and allowed us to finally meet some long-time internet friends, like Stephen G Harrogate Bramley and Cynthia Cummens.  It brought us into close contact with some real stars of Star Wars, including Stephen Sansweet, Bonnie Burton and Joe Corroney and gave us some quality time with our Admiral Richard Le Parmentier, and our good friend Gerald Home.  And we even got to become good pals with event organiser Barry Eldridge, which continues to be worth every minute of hard graft we put in at table D-74.  Oh, and those pesky Jedi News guys were there as well.  So, flick through these assorted snaps taken by Lightsabre contributor Paul Squire and relive the magic of Celebration Europe...
