Characters Guide - L Laace -
A longstanding female friend of Jan
Lomonas and a fellow smuggler.
Starting up in the profession at the same time as Jan, Laace made a
good living - until she crossed the Amagad
based gangster Glann Cipple. Laace was saved from painful torture at the
hands of a hulking alien by Lomona, the smuggler freeing her from her
bindings to a torture table. (NHP) Laarton - An ex Trac-Tran Transit Company employee and good friend of Jan Lomonas. Whilst travelling along the edge of the Ruuthorne System his family starship
was attacked by six pirate vessels.
Barely surviving the attack, Laarton managed to identify one of his
attackers as being the ex-Trac-Tran employee Kee-livinees, just before dying swearing revenge Lomona made it his business to track down and
bring Kee to justice, which he finally did years later at the Matuubii ruins on the backwater
planet Marner. (TFS) Ladd, Macc – Human
back up for the Grangar
Flamers. Costs a
transfer fee of c24, 000. (RPG/NHP) Ladle - Former independent smuggler

on her face and a single gold braid on her otherwise baldhead Ladle was an
uncompromising woman who suffered fools badly. (AK) Lafta, Shoot - Glann Cipples operative
working out of the city of Kansonn
Velee on Cantarr Bi Romou. Young and nervous, this human agent had the

Ranth that the secret mission on Cantarr Bi Romou had now moved to Soluman, as well as informing Ryath Centaur after his harrowing

involvement with her then smuggling partner Bella, Cipple had a brief affair with Lale. (RPG) Lamang, Meggrish - Chortese

for expansion, Lamang was prepared to do deals with larger operations for a
smaller profit - the price he was willing to pay to impress the major
players. (NHP/RPG) Lamka, Meggrish - This bearded, hairy human was the jovial barkeeper
at the Amagad branch of Zythlies Dropout Parlour in Amagad City. (NHP/RPG) Lans, Admiral Korne - Second-in-command to Moff Treece at the Imperial garrison on Chancai. Lans was at the
Academy on Carida with Treece, the
two of them rising through the ranks at the same pace until Lans became
Treeces staff sergeant. So it stayed
until Treece hit the fast track and raced ahead of his colleague. Taking the position of aide to the Moff,
Lans had to swallow his pride, arrogant as Treece was. Hard working and dutiful Lans believed
strongly in the concepts and precepts of the New Order, a belief that was
recognised after Treeces errors over Mantin VII when Lans was given a promotion in rank to Admiral. With the return of Treece from Soluman,
Lans gave him the Trefnarian
Stormtrooper Project to head up, a twenty-year-old project involving the
cloning of Stormtroopers from the pure unsullied DNA of Trefnarians. After the end of the Galactic Civil War Lans agreed to buy the legendary starship Heed from the ganglord Glann Cipple, only to see the ship
decay in its orbit after the loss of its powerful Janos Jewel drive and crash into the ocean just off the city of Amagad. Believing himself to have been betrayed, Lans
ordered his Star Destroyers
to bombard the city, reducing it to dust. (QFF/LL/FOG) Larkin, Judge Bicerion - Larkin was a stuffy and officious judge who sentenced Lando Calrissian to imprisonment

Ovvree Chesco and
decided to take a simpler job working at the Capreecik Inn on Chancai
(Level 5, Northside, Unit 2564). Eventually the couple moved to the quiet
sands of Marner, where Lomona ran
into her after five years and the two spent a passionate night together

was executed and Cipple recruited Lasulai into his organisation. (RPG) Latka, Dezla - Father of Frans Latka. A salesman by

A-desandian born
smuggler and long-time romantic
partner of Jan Lomona. Born in Ponon City, Frans was Lomonas girlfriend, lover and
fiancée. They were together from a
young age, and eventually she joined him on many of his trips through the
galaxy. Tall and slim with a swathe of
fiery red hair, Frans was a capable smuggler in her own right. Aware of Jan’s infidelity she nevertheless
stayed by his side for many years, despite breaking off their engagement on
two occasions and having relationships with the clone Goah Galletti and a bank clerk called Postre. After many years
she finally ended their romance, unable to stand his philandering any
longer. Returning to her homeworld of
A-desando she worked as a security specialist and lived alone in Ecaps City for almost thirty years until she was
contacted by Terrie Saffra, who asked her
to embark upon an undercover ops mission deep in the heart of the Ki-Ki
underworld. Now eager for a life
change she accepted, and took on the most dangerous mission of her career. (SD/LDT/SOL/BR/JLSA/BOP/TIAA/QFF/MON/MOT/CBS/WTP/LPL/RPG) Latka, Vesie - Mother of Frans Latka and wife of Dezla. Vesie was a young mother and enjoyed a

comfortable life in Ecaps City on A-desando. (NHP) Laze - Imperial trooper

skirmishes all across the local sectors.
Eager for a break from the bloodshed and travel, Leandray accepted a
position in Tralat Durge’s pirate
gang after tailing the smuggler Canen
Luone in his starship the Avansis
to Ruuthorne. Eventually he worked
for the Trac-Tran Transit Company. (SIS/AOR) Leandray, Uvic - Legendary Uncle of the pirate Aurie Leandray. Uvic

there were never substantiated. (RPG) Leavesley, Quint – Owner of Quint Leavelsley’s Spare Part Pick-up
Place, Level 5, Southside, Units 4288-4290.

the Trac-Tran Transit Company in

disease, which she soon succumbed to.
Devastated, Kee went astray, eventually leaving the TTTC and joining a group of pirates
that included Nackron Yatchteeze. It was during one such pirate raid that Kee
killed another TTTC employee, Laarton,
who told of Kee’s betrayal on his deathbed.
Swearing revenge, Lomona spent the next few years tracking down
Kee-livinees, finally locating him on the world of Marner. There, in a
gunfight in the Matuubii ruins he
nailed Kee and ended the whole nasty business. (TFS) livinees, Tessa- - The wife of the ex-Trac-Tran

the world for his own. Living with his

and the only member of his family apart from his cousin Sharn Retgarr to give him support and encouragement in any of his
smuggling or personal endeavours. The
youngest brother of Narn Giapa Lomona,
Ade never supported the Empire or
its ways, preferring instead to remain neutral. In his younger days Ade worked
for the Setnin
ganglord Duze Jostenn,
alongside Glann Cipple, Dessio
D’Staan and Anak
Arkensaw, foster father of Luschia Arkensaw.
Ade double-crossed Duze, leaving the sector with millions of credits
in stolen treasure, but returned for his nephew Jan’s naming ceremony, a
brave act that gained Jostenn admiration.
Never marrying, Ade was always there to give his youngest nephew
support, at swoop races when Jan was a boy right up to Jan’s mature years as
a smuggler and free trader. During the
Ki-Ki/Setnin War Ade,
despite being in his mid-nineties, was still giving sage advice to his
sixty-six year old nephew. (OITS/SD/WFLT/RPG) Lomona, Carriee Larn- - Wife of Imperial
Star Destroyer Captain Hijjin Lomona and sister-in-law of Jan Lomona. Married at a young age, Carriee felt little
attraction to her husband, hating the life he led as an Imperial
Captain. Widowed, she brought up her
son Narn Jan Lomona alone, losing
touch with her Mother-in-law Sieera
Cetting Lomona. Carriee eventually
lived with Narn on the quiet world of Gawuus
VII. (WFLT) Lomona, Hijjin - A-desandian
brother of Jan Lomona and Captain of the Imperial Star destroyer Barbarian. Hijjin was a young recruit in the A-desandian Security Services before
joining the Imperial Navy,
much to the satisfaction of his parents. He swiftly moved up the ranks and
was first stationed aboard the ISD
Vanquo and then the Barbarian.
Hijjin hadn’t seen his youngest surviving brother for several years
until he apprehended Lomona in the
Berone Sunrise. After a heated
argument concerning their frail and withering mother the brothers engaged in
a fistfight, which resulted in the accidental death of Hijjin. Hijjin left
behind a wife, Carriee Larn-Lomona, a
son Narn Jan Lomona and a
guilt-ridden brother. (SD/SS) Lomona, Jan – The Setnin Sectors most
prominent and successful smuggler and
free trader, child of Narn Giapa and Sieera Cetting Lomona. The youngest of three brothers, Lomona had
a strict upbringing on the Imperial
loyal world of A-desando. As a child he built swoops and was a Souper Swooper, and along with
his childhood Trandoshan
friend Treesk he built
a handful of race winning swoops for their own Wezzwen race team. After
the premature death of his older brother Luude
and his eldest brother Hijjins
move into the A-desandian military, Jan left home age sixteen in his first
starship the Trooper, soon finding
work in the employment of Jabba the
Hutt and Glann Cipple. Carving out a name for himself in the
Trooper, the Crusader and later his
beloved Berone Sunrise, Lomona
became a prominent name in the Setnin
underworld, managing to keep ahead of his major adversary, Dressels prime smuggler Petrol Merritch. Always with his droids Troopie and Aurran by
his side his reputation grew. Jan
became engaged to his childhood sweetheart Frans Latka and was tracked down by Paige Retgarr, the fourteen year old daughter he never knew he
had at the same time he first met Terrie
Saffra, an employee of Cipple who would leave a lasting mark on him. Returning home to A-desando to take up a
brief tenure as governor of Ecaps City,
Jan and Goah Galletti unwisely
double-crossed Jabba the Hutt, forcing them to leave the Setnin Sector for an
extended period of six months, returning just prior to the Hutts death. After
attending the wedding of Paige to his best friend Ryath Centaur he was lost believed dead when Ryaths ship the Thunderchild exploded in hyperspace
and he was flung in an escape pod to the other side of the galaxy,
deliberately taking a decade to work his way back. He returned to become a major trading
operator with the Trac-Tran
Transit Company and through the Ki-Ki invasion helped repel Ki-Ki forces with
Terrie Saffra, now a commander in Squadron
Indigo, by his side. Having used
various aliases including that of the unfortunate Joel St John, able to get by in nine languages, owner of the Ghtroc Freighter the Dangerous Curve and ex-manager of the
Heavy Jizz Wailer band The Berones, Lomona was an
influential figure during the Ki-Ki/Setnin
War and despite his new responsibilities - including ultimately
becoming President of the newly formed Setnin Region - continued to
free trade through the stars. Narn Giapa’s family moved to their sister world A-desando when he was twelve years old. There, he met and fell in love with Sieera Retgarr. Soon they had married, producing three sons
- Hijjin, Luude and Jan. Luude died
at the age of nine after a brief fever.
Joining the A-desandian
Security Forces and later the Imperial
Army, Narn soon rose
through the ranks and attained the rank of General. Proud of his son
Hijjin, who joined the Imperial Navy, he felt despair at the actions of his
rebellious son Jan. Narn Giapa met his
death during a conflict known as the Entall
Engagement, flushing out Rebels
from their hiding place on Entall. (SD/SS) Lomona, Narn Jan - Son of Hijjin Lomona and Carriee Larn-Lomona. (NHP) Lomona, Paige Retgarr – (See Centaur, Paige) Lomona, Sieera Cetting - Mother

fell in love and married, producing a son Hijjin. Their second son Luude died of a fever at the age of
nine, by which time Jan had been born.
Sierra joined the A-desandian
Security Forces for a time until Narn joined the Empire. Sympathetic to the Imperial cause, Sieera succumbed
to a hereditary heart defect after the death of Narn Giapa during an engagement
against Rebel forces on Entall after planting the seed in Jans
mind to take over the governorship of Ecaps
City - a role originally intended for her recently deceased husband. Harsh and cold towards her rebellious son
Jan, Sieera led her family through hard times and good. (SD/SS/MOP/TIAA) Lomona, Vernek – Head
of the A-desando
Mining Corporation and cousin of Ade Lomona. Vernek caused Lomona and Anak Arkensaw

and droids to work in. (RPG) Longbody –Five thousand year-old original
member of Chatroot And The
Howlrunners who masqueraded as an alien gang-leader of unknown origin operating out of Klaem in the far-flung Corb Sector. Impatient and
demanding, Longbody understood many alien languages but had trouble getting
his vocal cords around them, so a droid unit in his chest pack spoke for
him. Secretive and security conscious,
Longbody rarely had direct contact with his employees. Instead he operated a COMPNOR-style pyramid system, which ensured his anonymity. On occasion he used operators from the Setnin Sector, including the smuggler
Jan Lomona who got mixed up in
Longbody’s attempts to take over the Setnin Sector underworld from Glann Cipple. After Cipples evacuation from Setnin,
Longbody became one of the prominent figures in the post-Empire underworld. Longbody finally caught up with Cipple on
the planet Trefnare,
where after watching the rest of the original Happy Contrivers
kill themselves off he spirited Glann away.

the former mercenary and War Marshall Areed aboard his new ship the Endeavour. (SHTR/FAV/TFM/BIB) LS-76 - Droid created by the brilliant Doctor Flagen in his hidden
