Characters Guide - R R’Konn –
Mon Calamarian trader who ran his
operation in a Ghtroc Freighter. (RPG) R’Toll, Bohe - This human gunman was in the employ of Torona
Formoon on the planet of Soluman
at the time of the Jan Lomona
mission to Abrogard. Along with dozens of other Formoon agents,
as well as agents of Geon Tasar, Predd
Jason, Dressel and Mister Spyte
R’Toll lost his life in the explosion that levelled Devlin’s Island. (JLSA) Ra, Aaron –
Employee of the Guild
of Bounty Hunters in Section 357 of the Mid-Rim. Ninety years old, Aaron was a friend of the
dead Jedi Tarr
Ranth and encountered his son Tar after the Fall of Chancai (TRe) Raahne, Lieutenant Ando – Cocky and brash pilot born in
the city of Wergen on the planet Entall. Raahne had a twin sister, Seerah and his father was a
cryptologist in the Rebel Alliance. Raahne was initially
drafted as an information gatherer.
Soon, Raahne rose up through the ranks and became an Alliance Intelligence Operative. That
skill was eventually utilised in the elite Squadron Indigo where, as call sign I-Six he also had the opportunity to show his talent at
the stick of an X-Wing Fighter. Happily going steady with his girlfriend Josie Arring, Raahne fulfilled his
wish to be one of the few pilots to make it to twenty-three missions. Still serving during the Ki-Ki/Setnin War he joined
Indigo as it defected to the Setnin
Defence Force to fight actively against the Ki-Ki. (WPCS/SSAO/RPG) Racise, Raisha - Female smuggler
and a good friend of Jan Lomona. Racise used to smuggle for Glann Cipple before she accepted an
offer from the crime boss Farr’kisston
on Rallion. Thinking she could get away with
double-crossing Farr’kisston, she soon would up in a prison cell in his
secured Castle base. Racise managed to get two letter-searches
out to two of her friends - one to Lomona and the other to Goah Galletti. After an explosive encounter she was freed
and returned to work for Cipple. (RPG) Ractiy - This Verpine engineer co-owned the
Star Spares concern with fellow owners Ranjid, Brackli and Nacron. Easy going and dedicated, Ractiy could
determine problems with the eye of a droid.
(JLSA/RPG) Ranjid - This pale skinned human engineer based on Amagad ran the Star Spares chain of shops along with his three partners Nacron, Ractiy and Brackli. Ranjid was also a good friend of Goah Gallettis and occasionally
worked on his starships. (JLSA/AW/RPG) Ranth, Lord Tarr – Father of the famed bounty
hunter Tarr Ranth, Lord Ranth was
the previous owner of the black armour, which was worn by his son. As was customary for his family, Lord Ranth
`gave’ his name to his son, along with the armour after he had proved himself
in combat with an adversary of equal strength and guile. Lord Ranth died in a battle of honour with
his own son. (TBA/TS) Ranth, Tar – Cloned `son’ of Tarr Ranth, the bounty
hunter-turned-Jedi who
died defending Setnin. Appearing in action just prior to the Fall of Chancai, this clone
held the memories of the dead Jedi, as well as his skills and know-how. Determined to follow up on the legacy of
his `father’ and grandfather, Tar became embroiled in the Ki-Ki/Setnin War, continuing a
feud with Commander Brotus
of the Ki-Ki and severing his arm in the process. Ranth continued to work
within the sector during the war, freeing his mother from her prison on Leogard where she had led a
resistance cell for sixteen years. This clone also worked closely with Daemon Garr, otherwise known as
Lord Raven, and
operated for the Raven
Corporation on occasion, helping to free the captured Captain Mendip Khan and apprehending
wanted criminals. Ranth eventually
fell foul of Garr when he captured but freed Garr’s duplicitous wife Netha Dubra, and the former friends
became sworn enemies. R (FC/TRe/TC/OG/OF/Tva/MNR/BOB/EPI/FLI/SeTh/SeTr/SeMi/SeCc) Ranth, Tarr - Mandalorian-armoured Bounty
Hunter and son of Lord Tarr Ranth.
Sometimes using the alias of Tarrion Randelle, Ranth owned
the starship Prodigal Son before
losing her in a fire fight with the Bounty Hunter Queed over Gista and
taking the Dark Star, which
belonged to his father out of mothballs and refitting it enormously Instantly
recognisable in his jet-black armour, Ranth pursued many quarries, including
the smuggler Canen Luone - and
rarely failed to bring them back.
Hunted himself for years by the
Imperial Captain Nerain, Ranth preferred to keep his prey alive in case
they ever escape so he could capture them again, Ranth aided Jan Lomona, Ryath Centaur and Goah Galletti on a number of
occasions, and the starship thief Nias
Derril on numerous occasions.
Born on Corellia, Ranth
inherited his armour from his father Lord Ranth, who inherited it from Tarr’s Grandfather.
An adversary of the famed bounty hunter Boba Fett, Ranth could more than hold his own with the best. Later in his life he studied in the force
at the Jedi Academy on
Yavin IV under his
cousin, the Jedi Knight Blake
De'Athe. Now a dedicated Jedi Knight, Ranth accepted
a mission of danger to the world of Leogard to discern the number of Ki-Ki
Sector vessels in wait. Ambushed, he
met his death in the destruction of the Dark Star III, but returned to aide his cousin Blake De’Athe as a Jedi spirit. (TBA/TS/ElD/OPM/SOL/SF/TW/FBB/BE/CT/DSR/DC/JLSA/BOP/SOT/100/BoE/RE/NMD/

Rathell, Y’Nep - Longbody’s Arconan Major
Domo. Capable and protective, this
aged Arconan was a long-standing employee of Longbody and was in charge of
hiring Longbody's operatives, including the treacherous ex-Imperial Pillot. (RPG) Raven, Lord – (See Garr, Daemon) Raven, Lady – (See Dubra, Netha)
Raynor, Arach - Human junker and
technician, operating out of the worlds of Wennicas and Cawbate. Widely respected and sought after for
his experience he accepted the offer to become operations manager of Luschia Arkensaws Euphoria Station in
orbit around Chinyard and oversaw
the job of transporting it across the sector to Wennicas. Romance
blossomed between Raynor and Arkensaw and after a short courtship the two
became engaged. (WFLT/AK/BOP/QC/RE/DB/TTSS/RPG) Reead, Ent

who flew in the battle between the New
Republic Gunboat Colossus and the ISD

whose words of resistance and morality were widely read by the few worlds of
what would become known as the Setnin Sector. (FaB) Reeabean, Porla - Female second-in-command to Dafer Arben on the
planet Runania. A genuine
hard-nose, Reeabean rivalled Dafer in the unpopularity stakes. (RPG) Reebo – One of the nine men who were ambushed by both Ryath Centaur and Tarr Ranth – one after their
bounty and the other after his lifelong enemy Pillot Alvarna. (NMD) Reetii, `Flameout’ – Call sign I-Thirteen and member of Squadron Indigo during the Ki-Ki/Setnin War, Reetii came
from the world of Yedda. (WPCS/SSAO) Regal, Carlin - Hailing from the world of Rondosarn in the Dead Man
Sector, Regal was the prior owner of the legendary Regal Files to whom he gave his name. This lizard-like senator was in a prime
position to gather information, which he did without scruples. Commonly known as a swindler, Regal did
himself few favours and others even less. (RF) Regnier –
Trainee cadet on Basser at
the same time as Areed. Son of a landlord on Zelon. A
great family with many sons. Regnier was the youngest and the least important
sibling, arrogant for no good reason and an embarrassment to his
parents. (BOW) Relnard, Commander – Second-in-command to Captain Desanon aboard the ICF Invidious.
Relnard found the bomb placed on board the Invidious by Nias Derril’s droid SP1, taking it to the bridge
before it exploded, killing all aboard the vessel. (SF) Renko the Hutt – Hutt from the same clan as Halgutta and the murdered Jiga. Along with his clan mate Halgutta, he swore revenge
on the Twi’lek Heena,
who murdered Jiga for her own freedom.
(NHP) Reptile – Member of Jeddess
Essar’s three-strong
team that crash-landed on Wennicas. Reptile was shot during a Janite attack, and helped
uncover his teammate Golden as a double-agent. (TBF) Retgarr, Paige – (See Centaur, Paige) Retgarr,
Saah - Proprietor of the station
bar on board the Livill Station,
which orbited the industrial world of Livill. Looking far younger than her fifty years,
Saah enjoyed a brief relationship with the teenage smuggler Jan Lomona whilst he was aboard the
station. Parting company after a few
short days, Lomona forgot about the incident - until his and Saahs daughter Paige Retgarr arrived on Amagad and reminded him of his
past. Saah died of the memory-erasing
disease Evitarr Syndrome, leaving
her young daughter Paige to fend for herself.
(JLSA) Retgarr, Captain Sharn - Cousin of Jan Lomona and a fighter pilot in the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Federation. Sharn was the only other member of Lomonas
family to turn her back on an Imperial
upbringing - she left A-desando
not long after Jan and joined her local rebel cell. Quickly gaining a reputation as a brave and
excellent pilot, Retgarr joined Squadron
Indigo seven years after the Battle
of Yavin as call sign I-Two and
attained the rank of Captain. Her
cousin Jan didn’t learn of her involvement in the New Republic until after his mission to Maquina with Terrie Saffra,
the Commander of Squadron Indigo.
Sharn remained with Indigo and joined them as they defected to the Setnin Defence Force to fight
against the Ki-Ki in
the Ki-Ki/Setnin War. (WFLT/SDs/WSOH/WPCS/SSAO/RPG) Retgarr, Sieera – (See Lomona,
Sieera Cetting) Retgarr, Suslo - Wife of Esre
Retgarr and mother of future Squadron Indigo
pilot Sharn Retgarr. (WFLT) Retsam, Governor Emag - One of the best swoop racers ever and Governor of Raca City on Junduk IV
in the Ki-Ki Sector. Retsam ran the racetrack for decades,
bringing among other things Pod Racing
to Chancai in the Setnin Sector, before the city was
briefly requisitioned by Grand Moff
Galgen and used as his new base of
operations. Emag Retsam was the
brother of Fuida Galgen-Jonas and
uncle of Skeet Jonas. Horrifically scarred after the pod race
crash that claimed the life of his beloved Yona, the left half of Retsam’s jaw was an artificial construct,
attached to his head by bare wires and a metal plate. (DOY/SOP/RPG) Rettardii - Alien swoop racer from the world of Uuntull, Rettardii was a huge, slightly dim but ultimately
loveable character. (RPG) Rev, Dek - Young Jedi Initiate from the world of Alderaan who trained under the tutelage of Notami De’Athe. After
De’Athe’s apparent death and disappearance Rev spent the next year fighting
in the Clone Wars, apprenticed to no one but standing beside many
other Jedi as they fought to protect the Setnin Sector. He later learned that De’Athe’s death was
but an elaborate deception and fought
to save many passengers aboard the Worldship Rinsome, the vessel designed to save as many
force sensitives as possible by taking them into Wildspace and away from the evil attentions of the Empire. (TCF/FOTR) Reygs, Korna - Recklessly brave and
resourceful smuggler who regularly
changed careers and eventually gave up the smuggling life to open a bar, the Bleckluva Bar and Restaurant in the
city of Brelen on the planet Lomon. Previously he had tried his hand at bank
robbing after becoming a security expert, attempting to break into the Alorea branch of the Bank of Zelon with aged
smuggler Rondosarn,
but nerves got the better of him. (WR/RPG) Ridley, Bevel– Trillionaire founder of the massive Ridley-Powcorp Corporation.
Running his multi-planetary conglomerate from the coincidentally named
planet Ridley, Bevel has made his
credits selling high-grade engines and components to the highest bidders,
discriminating against none and profiting from all. (NHP) Riger –
Ex-partner of Glann Cipple and Dressel and father of the late Luschia Arkensaw. Riger was privy to the plot to sell out the
Jedi family hiding on Trefnare
not knowing that included among the party was Arkensaw, the woman who he had
fallen in love with on Ashta years before and the mother of his daughter
Luschia. When Glann and Dressel
decided to split the profits fifty-fifty Riger met with an unfortunate
accident. Dressel shoved him off a
cliff, apparently killing him in the process.
Unbeknownst to them all Riger survived, going on to become known as
the bounty hunter Queed – a
dangerous man with a mission of revenge to carry out on his former
partners. Riger met his own demise
whilst hurling himself and Dressel off that very same cliff on Trefnare. (AK/ReN/RPG) Rikkles– Member of the Republic-era
fighting unit known as the Fighting
Indigos. A man with a
constant smile on his face, Rikkles was the longest serving member of the
unit after The Corporal
and served with the Indigos for over eighty years, through the fall of the
Republic, the rise of the Empire,
the Setnin Gang Wars
and the Galactic Civil War. (TMB) Rixx, Tannis – Former Janos Executioner who left Janos after being brought up on
a disrepute charge and vowed to compile a guide to the galaxy to show the
Janites what the universe was truly like.
However, this soon fell to the wayside when he began working as a
smuggler to pay his way and eventually he became one of the prime operators
in the Setnin Sector,
working for the Cipple
sisters, Bessa and Brea. A man who didn’t suffer fools at all, Rixx
was solidly loyal to the Cipple sisters, through the events of the Ki-Ki invasion and beyond, even
while assuming control of the Setnin
Defence Force after the Battle
of Histai, a role he relished and revelled in, especially during
the time of the Ki-Ki’s capture of the Chancai Trade Centre.
(WGA/EM/ThH/CF) Roarkasha - Wookie who was for a brief
time the co-pilot of Jan Lomona
while he transported the Jedi Blake
De’Athe to the planet Vorathie. (DC/RPG) Rodey - Rebel Alliance pilot who proved himself during the troubles on Tantum V. Impressing Admiral Jalman, Rodey was recruited to Squadron Indigo where his talents were put to devastating
use. (TOTV) Rogens, Captain - Captain of the Leogard Spacestation. (LR) Romanoe
– Sector-famed starship mechanic who was a close friend of Jan Lomona and Goah Galletti. Running his
operations from various bases throughout the Mid-Rim, Romanoe was
known for being able to procure almost any engine part for any make of
starship. Building his reputation from
scratch, Romanoe worked as a chief mechanic before striking out on his
own. During the early days of the Empire times were hard for the
underworld, and Romanoe made his name by being able to procure, and more
importantly, install illegal equipment, while always being on the move. Ably assisted by his team of top mechanics,
Starren Mrann and Paige Lomona among them he continued
to wield a large influence through the outlaw tech community, and on occasion
assisted Glann Cipple. While not cheap by any means, Romanoe’s
work was always guaranteed to be of the highest quality. But no refunds – he was a hard man to track
down. (QFF/TTE/AV/WTP/RPG) Rondosarn - At the advanced age of
eighty-seven, the alien smuggler
Rondosarn didn’t need to work any longer - surely he was ready for the Old Spacers Home. Tell that to the sarcastic captain of the Sunrider. Enjoying his life too much to give it up,
Rondosarn had no intention of slowing down, sometimes taking the thrill of
bank robbing with Korna Reygs over
the comfort of the armchair. (SOP/WR/RPG) RT-7 – Astromech
droid belonging to the Jedi
Knight Blake De’Athe and his wife Nera. (NO) Ruargau - A young Wookie male who had just ventured from his homeworld of Kassysshk for the first time. (RPG) Ruhbek, Lieutenant - Female Rebel Deck Officer at the Alliance base on Erinson. Tough and cool with an attractive exterior
but granite interior Ruhbek sacrificed herself to save many more Rebels after
being shot in action by Sergeant Ryath
Centaur. Ordering
Honsen to
make it off planet she unwittingly
endangered further Rebel lives when Honsen’s fighter was tracked to its
destination. (HP/NHPW) Ruune, Harla - Chief enforcer
of Demicido who stole
the Mandalorian armour
of Tarr Ranth and
wore it until Ranth caught her and defeated her in a vicious fight. (RAR) |
