Characters Guide - S Saarla – A blue-skinned Twi’lek barely out of her teenage
years, Saarla left her homeworld of Ryloth
and began her travels. Before too long
she had fallen on hard times, the galaxy being the cruel and uncompromising
place it is. She lowered herself to
the level of exotic dancer in a `Gentlebeings’ bar on Wennicas, where she was spotted by the ganglord Dressel. Soon, Saarla’s life began to turn
around. Every luxury was tended to and
she truly thought that her fortune had changed. However, it wasn’t long before she realised
she was just another bauble for Dressel to play with - in private and in
public. Addicted to DL-6, Saarla sorrowfully awaited the next chapter of her life. (JLSA) Sabre, Special Agent – Associate of Critchek Skumul and a special agent in the New Republics Special Investigations unit. (ITU) Saffra, Aisha– Younger sister of Terrie Saffra who lived on Carlin. (JLSA) Saffra, Commander
Terrie - Born on the world of Carlin, Terrie left her homeworld and
her younger sister Aisha to travel
the stars. Eventually she wound up in
the employ of Setnin Sector
ganglord Glann Cipple and worked
as a deep cover field agent, scoping out Cipples enemies and gathering
information on them. Eventually she
was picked out to join Jan Lomona
on the mission to Abrogard where
they encountered the daughter of the dead ganglord Dessio D’Staan. Despite
their attraction Lomona and Saffra didn’t see each other for seven
years. During the meantime Saffra
helped set up links between the D’Staan and Cipple operations. Returning to Setnin, Cipple had her
infiltrate the Rebel Alliance, and
whilst there she impressed enough superiors to offer her a commission in the
newly formed elite Squadron Indigo. Feeling that it was the right thing to do
she quit her position with Cipple and concentrated on her military
career. Initially flying as I-Three she
eventually she rose through the ranks and became I-Leader after taking command after the death of Indigo
Leader Renn Drezzna during an
impressive victory over Grand Moff
Treece and remnants of the Empire
at Varoone. Forthright and opinionated Terrie entered
into a relationship with Jan Lomona after their mission to Maquina, freeing rebel POW’s held
captive for twelve years. During
Lomonas ten year disappearance she began a new relationship with fellow
Squadron Indigo member Aaron
Styrus. She met Lomona
again after a decade as she took Squadron Indigo from the side of the Galactic Alliance to the Setnin Defence Force during the
Ki-Ki/Setnin War, and
worked closely with both Jan’s Trac-Tran
Transit Company and the Iron

populace. (DOG) Sall, Commander – Former member of Squadron Indigo and later commander of the New
Republic ship Moz’a’ti. Born on Mengenta and a close friend of Beyads, she did him a great favour by allowing him the
pleasure of a flight in the Moz’a’ti’s X-Wing fighter to stretch his space legs after years
aboard the Wars End,
his unresponsive freighter. At a
crucial juncture in the war, Sall turned the Moz’a’ti over to the Setnin Defence Force for use
against the Ki-Ki, an indication of the dissatisfaction towards the Republics
refusal to aid Setnin. Sall fought
against the Ki-Ki just prior to and during the capture of the Chancai Trade Centre. (BIS/CF) Saluras Child – Immense droid three
meters in height powerfully built with a thick black strip running where the
eyes should be and with cannons instead of hands that originally belonged to
the legendary Chatroot and his Howlrunners. The Saluras Child left the Mid-Rim and journeyed throughout the
galaxy fulfilling its master’s wishes of protecting the weak and innocent
until it was stumbled upon and subdued by Separatist forces during the Clone
Wars. Its programming subverted,
the Saluras Child became a weapon of evil used by agents of the Confederacy of Independent Planets.

fought to protect the Setnin Sector.

taking them into Wildspace and away from the evil attentions of the Empire. (TCF/FOTR) Se’Laara - Advisor to chief Yaboko of the Niekon tribe on the trade world of Zelon. A competitor of

Durne worked for on occasion. (SG/FDJH/AV/WCS/NHP/RPG) Selka, Mactin - A native of the planet Chinngard and brother of Jan Lomonas ex-co-pilot Durne Selka. Mactin had behind him a troubled past of
mistakes and regrets, although he constantly tried to make up for his
deficiencies. Selling secrets to the Alliance and the Empire was just one example of his naiveté, but Mactin aimed to
gain some honour by assisting his friend
Goah Galletti in the day-to-day operations of his starship the Phoenix. It was Mactin who accompanied Galletti on
his first visit to the palace of Jabba
the Hutt. An occasional employee of the Trac-Tran Transit Company, Mactin met his death at the
hands of the treacherous Imperial Commander
Terrov on Jarros, a death that
Galletti avenged within the caves of Escall. (FDJH/LOLD/RPG) Semic, Commander– Corellian Second-in-command aboard the Imperial Customs Frigate Destiny.

equipment. His network of contacts was varied but dangerous, the network
including two Hutt’s. With
his ear to the underground, he also acted as an infobroker when the mood took
him. Dressed in well kept grey combat fatigues he also wore a blast vest when
the need arose. He has a long, boyish face and light brown hair that always
seems to be falling into his eyes. Motivated mostly by credits, he worked for
less if it meant increasing his network.

chiefly out of Lifferia. (AW/RPG) Shayy, Padawan – Headstrong, sometimes

Wookie

but deadlier in hand-to-hand combat. His
neutral stance made him a handy sometime-ally, and he used this goodwill to later set himself up as a crime
boss in the Ki-Ki Sector. Years later Siggiam worked during the Ki-Ki/Setnin
War, losing his ship the Slingshot
27 in a fight against
Ki-Ki forces in the Alorea System. (LB/BIB/RPG) Sigiam, Boron– Former gunrunner and hitman

known as Snorknose Soli to his underlings, a nickname
bestowed upon him by his enemy Grand
Moff Treece. General Soli led a
busy life sifting through important documents and allocating teams to go on
seek-and-retrieve missions. A typical
military type, Soli suffered fools badly and couldn’t bear to let a grudge
go. One such grudge, against
free-trader Jan Lomona festered
for years. Stationed on Tantum V for a brief while after the Battle of Endor, Soli worked briefly
and under protest alongside underworld characters including Anzai Karoo. Posted to the Colossus, Soli managed to
break up a successful roster of Squadron
Indigo which precipitated the arrival of Rogue Squadron pilot Wes
Janson to swiftly train a new team.
Soli barely managed to disguise his dislike for Lomona and Terrie Saffra after they successfully
completed their mission to Maquina. Forthright and stern, Solis loyalties were
brought into doubt on a number of occasions and it was suggested that he sold
secrets to the Empire on more than
one instance, rumours that were borne out to be true when an investigation
proved that he had sold out rebel sympathisers to the Empire during the Galactic Civil War. Sentenced to five years at the Arsazz Mining Colonies on Lydon Soli never made the full
journey – he escaped his confines and skipped the sector. (AK/OBN/TOTV/SDs/WSOH/RPG) Solum – Member of the Iron
Claws mercenary unit who worked for Ryath Centaur. A

Assassins Hardball team and then Spik to continue his piloting
career. (RPG) Spine - For as long as anyone could

organisation from the planet of Cawbate. Once a partner of the big-time ganglord Dressel, Spyte later ran his
operation from a location in the Cawbate desert. During the events surrounding the Lomona
mission to Abrogard Spyte was one
of the team assembled by Grand Moff
Treece to bring about the downfall of Glann Cipple, a gambit that ultimately failed. Five years after the demise of the Emperor, Spyte met his own demise - killed in a shuttle explosion rigged
by Glann Cipple. Having been
invited to meet with Cipple at the city of New Phoenix on Amagad
Spytes shuttle was fatally sabotaged at the instigation of Cipple. Ironically, Spyte had assisted Cipple in
decoding the disk instrumental in locating the Heed, the very starship that was soon to destroy Amagad City
itself. (JLSA/RPG) Squiz – Sometime partner of smuggler Bad Luck Beon Odiss.
A dwarf, Squiz was gruff, argumentative and short tempered. Squiz
later hooked up with Injevido,

Zone who came to Setnin
during the New Underworld Age. With
Injevido he found NIK, Anzai
Karoo’s droid deactivated for three years aboard the Cannon Angel on the world of Trefnare, but was betrayed by

teamed up with the sentient Coryarthanax
experiment Baz and
continued his travels. (CDC/InV/WIN/AEWH/TFPM) Squoorb
- Quarren gambler in and around
the Setnin Sector. (RPG) St John, Joel - Quite possibly the most wanted man in the entire Setnin Sector, this A-desandian businessman conducted his
business in the free trade without attracting undue attention for many
years. This would have continued
unless his fellow A-desandian Jan
Lomona hadn’t decided to use the name Joel St John as a pseudonym. Very swiftly the name Joel St John appeared
on Imperial wanted lists, bounty
charts and death warrants across the sector.
Dumbfounded by the situation St John took his starship the Futile Resistance and skipped the Mid-Rim. (SeD/RPG) St John, Joel – (See Lomona, Jan) St John, Kenn – A-desandian father of Joel St John who was similarly duped by Ade Lomona, as was his son in

Centaur and Saul Davlon and

Tough, independent with a deep sense of humour that was sometimes hard
to fathom, Sullia wasn’t afraid to face up to her bosses in the unit. (NHPW/RPG) Suncharr, Quenda - Formally a target on Goah Gallettis hit list. Suncharr aided Glann Cipple on Soluman
in the D’Staan deception. One of Glanns best runners, he had a long-standing

attack. Duplicitous and sneaky,
Suncharr was a feared opponent. (JLSA/RPG) Suselow – Born on the world of Carlin, Suselow was secretarial
assistant to Trace Dallagra at the
offices of Dallagra Lawyer Services (Level
9, Northside, Unit 890) on Chancai. Formerly a smuggler for Glann Cipple and Dressel, Suselow decided to go straight when she was given the
chance of a new start by Trace after being outwitted by Dressel. But things didn’t go well for Suse and
eventually she found herself back on Amagad. Desperate
to break out of her downward spiral she concocted a plan, along with Brackli,
Grin and Mooto to
sell one of Cipples new Hunter
Killers to the tech expert Blinkers, a plan which results in Blinkers death but also
Suse getting her credits and her second new start. (COP/BOP/HK/RPG) Sushelyana - Female spy who worked for
Ryath Centaur and later joined him in the Iron Claws mercenary unit.

blanket bombed his position after the initiation of Order 66 on the world of Wennsia. (TVR) Swuleft, Veer - Happy-go-lucky human con artist turned swoop racer. After winning a hand on the card tables,
