Characters Guide - Y

 

Yaboko - Head of the Niekon, a tribe of humanoids who lived in the jungles of Zelon for thousands of generations.  Yaboko aimed to be a responsible leader and hoped to begin a meaningful dialogue with the Chancai authorities, but it was soon made clear that the massive trade hall wanted even more lush forest and vegetation pulled down for their extensions, so the Niekon tribe became a militant, terrorist group.  Knowing there was a price on his head, and fully aware of the Imperial garrisons springing up throughout the forest, Yaboko aimed to bring the situation to a suitable conclusion.

Yapya, Gance - Wildly successful businessman who started the exclusive chain of Yapya Restaurants throughout the Setnin Sector.  To date there are only five in existence - Amagad City, Wennicas, Chancai Trade Centre (Level 15, Northside, Unit 2150), Ecaps City, A-desando and the Euphoria Station.  Through his success, Gance was able to afford homes on Trefnare, A-desando and an apartment in Chancai.

Yard, Brey - Arrogant and cocky swoop racer whose easygoing nature and sharp retorts bellied a serious drinking problem.  Yard owned the droid Enneight.  Despite this, Yard had a business arrangement with fellow swoop rider Skeet Jonas.  Yard came into possession of the freighter the Happy Contriver, which was previously owned by the D’Staan/Riger/Cipple/Dressel partnership.  Brey sacrificed himself to save young Skeet and his friends by crashing his speeder into a hovertank.

Yarrlah - Female member of the Ryallaryh species and a native of the planet Rirrayr.  Feline in appearance Yarrlah was the `escort’ of Grand Moff Den Treece while they journeyed to the Soluman Delta Gulf aboard the ISD Repressor.  In a flash of twisted anger Treece murdered Yarrlah in his quarters, strangling her with her own undergarments.

Yatchteeze, Nackron - This Quarren native of the world of Mon Calamari left his aquatic world in disgrace and turned to a life of piracy and crime.  Hiring himself out to the best paying pirate groups, Yatchteeze earned a reputation as a ruthless operator.  Yatchteeze was also a member of the raiding party that intercepted the starship of ex-Trac-Tran Transit Company member Laarton, an attack that resulted in Laarton’s death.

Yavin - A member of Peach Squadron, an infamous bunch of Rebel Alliance screw-ups who wreaked havoc throughout the local sectors.  Using guile and intelligence, blind luck and fate they invariably stole starships and ran Imperial blockades, dodging Star Destroyers, before continuing on their adventures.  Peach Squadron missions included the attempt to destroy AT-ST’s on a military research base located on a moon.  When the base couldn’t be destroyed they destroyed the moon instead.  A known associate of Bazillicon Doron, Twana, Colonel Cazinski and Brodin, Yavin was trapped in Amagad City for three days on the order of an angry Glann Cipple whilst being hunted down by Carlonian Feese, Goah Galletti, Jan Lomona and Ryath Centaur.  Yavin favoured wearing droid-like body armour.

Yersh, Tolash - A dedicated pirate, this human from the world of Rallion despised Tralat Durges decision to join up with Jan Lomonas Trac-Tran Transit Company, but remained despite his protestations.

Yevish, Ecar - Ex-employee of the Trac-Tran Transit Company who eventually joined Tralat Durge’s pirate gang in orbit of Ruuthorne - and ended up working for the TTTC again as part of an agreement between Durge and his old employer Jan Lomona.  Even-tempered, this middle-aged human was a hard worker.

Yona - Blue-skinned Twi’lek slave belonging to Komag the Hutt.  Komag, for his own amusement, told Yona that she could win her freedom if she won in a Pod Race.  Emag Retsam trained the Twi’lek to ride Pod’s and consequently fell in love with her.  Yona met her death at the end of the race on Raca City on Junduk IV – an unfortunate collision with Emag ending her life.

Yoon, Bozz - Native of the planet Jobol and the owner of the Red Star Hotel Chain.  Naming his hotel chain after Jobol’s red sun, Yoon was a good friend of Jan Lomona. Yoon often worked on the reception desks of his various hotels and was a friendly and welcoming site to travellers everywhere.

Yorath, Torn - Scruffy and badly dressed, Yorath was a good friend of Jan Lomonas and a sometime drinking buddy.  Now a government agent posted on the quiet Turners World, Yorath ran into Lomona at the Marcarr Hotel and told him about the sightings of Kee-livinees in the area.

Y'rudar - Twi'lek dancing girl who had the bad judgement to resist Jabba the Hutt's amorous advances and paid dearly for it.  Banished to the Tatooine desert naked and without any weapons she managed to find shelter with fellow victims of Jabba's wrath and lived out in the dunes for many months.  Lover of Jabba's mechanic Breltz, Y'rudar returned to the Palace to find her lover waiting and willing to join her in her life in the desert.

Yullm Eager, idea-driven member of Glann Cipple’s who sat in on senior staff meeting taking notes.  Eventually beaten down by the job he became a second grade information operative in the office of Cipple’s s secretary Jezzren and later reported to Zoz Eldenn.  Regularly seen in the field, Yullm sent reports on Cipple’s operatives’ back to his boss on Amagad as well as monitoring the failed Hunter Killer project. Yullm achieved notoriety when he was a part of the team that discovered the long lost starship Heed within the Foron Dustcloud.  After Cipples fall he was offered a position with Dressel, which he declined and Yullm became a Galactic Alliance representative to the Setnin Council in the office of Finance, and the aide to Governor Ocern Gabe.
