the Belvaa Shipyards on
A-desando and originally owned by the
widowed heiress Magda
Blaine the Sunrise was 48 metres long
with a cargo capacity of 180 metric tonnes.
She was both fast and spacious with an x3/4 hyperdrive multiplier, a
heavy-duty repulsor system and sleeping room for 4 passengers and 2 crew
but enough space to sleep another 8 scattered around the ship. Capable both in and out
of atmosphere the Berone Sunrise boasted a military sensor suite, a heavy
laser cannon, 2 Quads and
Ion and
Proton torpedo launchers. Lomona also had 5 tonnes of concealed
refrigerated cargo space for illicit smuggling. The Sunrise had a distinctive split-level
cockpit, which was vital for the crew to make the most out of the vast window
coverage. Protected by an almost
thief-proof Securi-Grid System,
mantraps on both main and cargo ramps and the added protection of droids
Troopie and
Aurran the Sunrise was massively upgraded from when she was first
commissioned. She was later owned by
the ex-mercenary Ryath Centaur and
his wife Paige Centaur, the
daughter of Jan Lomona until Jans return from his ten year break from the
sector. |
