Desando Dynamics DD-24 `V’ Wing Strike Fighter

One of the few examples of a Desando Dynamics fighter, the `V’ Wing, which pre-dated both the Republic and New Republic versions by some years, was a potent short range strike fighter.  At 13.5 meters long and with a x1 hyperdrive multiplier, the `V’ Wing could leap into locations and attack at short notice.  Powered by a binary Novaldec J-77 engine, the `V’ Wing was impressively decked out with 2 Blastech BMF-6 laser cannons, Arakyd proton torpedoes, a Torplex deflective shield generator, a Siep-Irol sensor array and toughened Desando Dynamics ablative shield armour.  Though only produced for a limited time, the `V’ Wing soon became industry fighter standard throughout the sector.
