>>>rachel devenport of rachel devenport pr has contacted us about a very interesting event happening in london this weekend.  over to rachel  "who shot darth vader kelvin pike did. and that's not all...this saturday - 10th may 2008 - raindance are welcoming veteran cameraman kelvin pike bsc to the kodak masterclass at bafta. his work includes 2001: a space odyssey, the shining, the empire strikes back, dr. strangelove and heaven's gate.
kelvin will speak about his filmmaking career and show examples of his work giving an lorne behind the scenes look at what it was like working on some of the most iconic films of the 20th century.
 and yes don't worry, we've made sure to save some time for all your questions about kubrick and lucas.

Site of Jan Lomona and Terrie Saffras mission to rescue rebel prisoners-of-war from an Imperial jail.  After numerous missions to rescue the Durathosin prisoners, captured years before the Battle of Yavin, Lomona and Saffra are dispatched on what is effectively a suicide mission.  Dry and arid, Maquina was one of the Empires largest outposts in the sector during the Galactic Civil War and still held a large number of troops even after the Battle of Endor

>>>our good friend and fellow swora member lucasz mlotkowski brings us some exciting news from poland.  over to lucasz.  "coming to poland next week, is a very special star wars event. celebrating their 4th anniversary, a fan-group called the bfsw (bydgoski fanklub star wars - star wars fanclub of bydgoszcz) decided to organise a fan meeting on the world-famous obi-wan kenobi street.  scheduled for may 10th and titled "star wars mayday", the event will feature a presentation of movie costumes, star wars games, and other activities for all the family. most importantly however, i am proud to announce that the guest star of the show will be star wars actor mr. gerald home himself! we are very fortunate indeed to have mr. home as our guest for the second time in poland. last year's dagobah 2007 convention, featuring everyone's favourite squid head, was truly a memorable event. it received a lot of international attention, with mentions on popular star wars websites, including theforce.net, Lightsabre, and an appearance on bantha tracks! for the latest information on the "star wars mayday" event please visit imperial city online and the official website of the bsfw fanclub."  thanks lucasz, and we'll be bringing you a report from the event shortly...

>>>it looks like samuel l jackson may well be lending his voice to the forthcoming the clone wars movie.  according to ulrich decoster in a chat with french site sithclan.net, jackson confirmed that it was his voice in the recently leaked trailer for the clone wars.  very cool if true, especially following rumours said by peter mayhew last week that this was just the first of a mooted three film trilogy with chewbacca to feature in some part...

Setnin Sector world located in the Luronsa System as well as it’s sister world Basser.  Luronsa IV was the world where, amongst other occurrences, Ryath Centaur killed Geon Tasar and creditors mistakenly chased Jan Lomona, as well as where Romanoe worked tirelessly on Anzai Karoo’s starship the Cannon Angel. This was also the world where intergalactic super spy Bazillicon Doron thwarted the attempts of Imperial Admiral Felld to ingratiate himself with the rich and influential Lady Broznain
