Planets
Guide - A Aardan IV – World within the Setnin Sector, the fourth
planet of an eight planet system. Aardan IV was a water-filled world
pockmarked with massive underwater craters that caused turbulent, raging
swirls where the natives fished for large predators that were eaten as
delicacies. Abeote System – Unremarkable and uninhabited
star system of two gas giants and three ore-filled rogue moons inherited by
the billionaire Bacca upon his
coming of age. Uncertain of what to do
with an entire system, Bacca put it straight into his will. This lies within the Setnin Sector. (TTC) Abrogard - Situated on the very edge of
the Core Worlds in the Verlence Sector, Abrogard was the
only inhabited world of the system and the base of ganglord Dessio D’Staan after his
disappearance from the Setnin Sector. Noted for its striking architecture,
Abrogard is also unusual for its persistent rainfall - not unique in itself,
but strange for the fact that the rain is constant light drizzle, little more
than dew in the air. (JLSA/OD) A-desando - Setnin Sector home to the free trader Jan Lomona and world of history and ancient sites. In the largest of the planets continents, Henmarr, and outside the urban area
of Ecaps City lies the
region of narrow canyons known as the Lomona
Straits, named after the Lomona family who’ve done so much for A-desando
over the years. Close by is the city
of Ponon, which sits on the opposite
side of Lake Mazapamano and
the Ponon Pass from
Ecaps City, the capital city of A-desando. A
city largely comprised of housing estates, Ponon was where Narn and Sieera Lomona had their second home, and where their
son Jan first met his childhood sweetheart and later fiancée Frans
Latka. Desando Dynamics, the sectors foremost ship
design and build corporation, is situated on Garpos Island. Sharing the
Desando System with her three
sister worlds - Locaarn, Lagara and Halando, A-desando orbits the yellow
star Tri-Lomon at a distance of
275 million kilometres. Holding three
moons in its orbit, Sandosol, Rigette and Gennta, A-desando has a mixed
climate varying from cool winds in the north to a warmer climate in the
south. Senator Gennata of A-desando who served the world in the senate
for almost fifty years lived out his years in the warm southern state of Drellea. (SD/SS/WFLT/FT/QFF) Aceatat System - Consisting of the trading
world of Tuffu, home of the
mechanic Kirrich. Other worlds in
the Aceatat System include Corb, Corr,
Simion, Yedda, Bratmus and
Inyanden. The Aceatat System also
contains eight moons and a comet and lay within the Setnin Sector. (RPG) Actua Dua – World in the Outer Rim Territories with many
historical links with the Setnin
Sector. Barely the size of
a small moon, Actua Dua was largely
mud, with a spattering of lakes and rivers, but no oceans of note. Much of the planets moisture collected in
the clouds that drifted above that rained down and were
absorbed back into the skies. A
pitiable planet, the populace lived a hand-to-mouth existence. The ganglord Dressel had many concerns here and regularly sent
operatives, including Petrol Merritch, to keep tracks of his efforts and watch over Ensonn, a former operative who had become
something of a problem. (JAFC) Afagard - Sister world of Leogard and Nogard in the Garda
System that is noteworthy for its total lack of valuable natural
resources. This is the world where
mercenary Ryath Centaur
apprehended the errant professor Torl
and had him and the six Overlord Squad
mercenaries executed. During the years
of the New Republic, Afagard was host to an orbiting supply station, one that
was destroyed by the returning Grand
Moff Treece in his Imperial Star
Destroyer Negator. Home to the
notorious Blackwing Mercenaries, Afagard was a
mountainous, heavily forested and unwelcoming world, a typical example of a Setnin Sector planet. (MOM/NHP) Agubia – Moderately advanced planet in
the Gervlin System who’s second government contacted the smuggler Jan Lomona to ask him to help set up a trade route too and from their
remote, brush-land world to the rest of the Setnin Sector.
Sitting far out from any large established routes but surrounded by
Imperial bases, Agubia was one of the worlds visited by the ISD Barbarian, captained by Hijjin Lomona. It was here that Hijjin and Jan Lomona had
their fatal argument, which resulted in the death of the Imperial
captain. (SS) Aldebare IV – Setnin Sector world in the Aldebare System and home planet of the smuggler Hadin an employee of the gangster Jomobol Pocock and the mercenary Dak Arlon. Aldebare IV was also where the Jedi Knight Muroal fled to after the
execution of the Jedi in the Empire’s
New Order and where Jaine Drano
operated her rag-tag police squad.
Carrying no oceans, the surface has cracked and distorted through lack
of visible water sources, although underground the planet is riddled with
rivers and seas. (RPG) Alganar III – Dry, volcano covered humid
world in the single planet Hedar System which once claimed a population
of twenty thousand. Sitting in a vast
expanse between the Setnin and Tak-Atane Sectors, with only an unnamed satellite for a moon, Alganar III was where
ganglord Jomobol Pocock had two teams
of archaeologists and miners digging a site to find hidden artefacts and
buried Killiab Crystals. However, the world of Alganar III orbits the dying red giant
star Bedoah, the
oldest star in the Setnin Sector, and the system has only a few hundred years
of life left to it. Alganar III itself
is tearing itself apart – massive volcanic eruptions are regular sights on
the planet and habitation is rare and dangerous. The homeworld of the ancient Bedois race, its hierarchical
government and feudal system governed the race of latent force-sensitive
people. The world itself was known as
Bedois before the entire race was wiped out in a conflict with the Jedi Knights. Only one Bedois escaped
the war - General Arcc Nedeen. Two
years later traders settled the planet but after a spate of accidents and
strange occurrences they decided to leave.
Quarantined by the Republic
1000 years ago and removed from star charts and gazetteers, Alganar III was
left entirely alone until it’s rediscovery by Jomobol Pocock. (TLFW) Aliass - Ki-Ki Sector world and a member of the Houses of Trade. Alorea – Setnin Sector jungle world in the Alorea System orbited by its
two moons Maith and Saeat, and scene of the crash of an Imperial shuttle carrying four
members of the feared Ferrerean
Warriors - the leader Nant,
his first Chael, Dabspie and Ell. Using a diplomatic
mission as cover the Rebel Alliance
sent in a team to seek and retrieve the four aliens. The team, including Jan Lomona, Goah Galletti and
Carlonian Feese, was almost
totally decimated in the attempt and Admiral
Suuraan and the sharpshooter Tunnil
Fulle were killed. (FW) Alsopha III – Third planet of the Alsopha System, a dusty and dry
planet in the Setnin Sector
where Jan Lomona made repairs to
the Berone Sunrise whilst
transporting the A-desandian
gambler and con artiste Alexa Black
to Angoria IV. (TRAB) Alrason – Ocean planet in the Alrason System of the Setnin Sector, above which Jan Lomona, Tarr Ranth and
Kamira fought, and where Lomona, after Ranth and Kamira had fought to a
standstill, was captured by an Imperial
vessel and taken to the Arsazz mines on Lydon, only to be freed by Ryath Centaur. (RPG) Amagad – Green and verdant tropical
world in the Amagad System,
heart of the underworld within the Setnin
Sector for almost a century. Her buildings were covered with fast
growing plants pushing up through the plasticrete. Operation centre of the Setnin Sectors leading underworld figure Glann Cipple. Half a decade after the death of Emperor Palpatine the city of Amagad was levelled by a tidal wave
caused by the legendary starship Heed
crashing into the waters of the Bay of
Amagad. The city was reduced to
radioactive ashes and rubble after being bombardment by an Imperial fleet
commanded by Admiral Korne Lans in
high orbit, Amagad City became a no-go area, hospitable only to the
genetically tampered creatures that had managed to escape the laboratories at
Glanns Fortress. Amagads orbit was slightly altered by
the tremendous impact, throwing the warm jungles into frozen wastes and
making it inhospitable to visitors.
Years later, after the world began to slowly repair the damage done,
Cipple’s daughters laid claim to Amagad City and built their own empire from
there, helping fight the Ki-Ki
Sectors invasion through the underworld. (AK/JLSA/FOG/NU/RPG) Anaridi - Home of the sector-famed University of Anaridi. This is where starship thief Leon Annuli gained his Galaxy and Guilds Degree to become a
starship designer. A small Setnin Sector world covered in
rolling grassy plains, Anaridi became one of the primary seats of knowledge
in the Mid-Rim. (DC/RPG) Anga – Situated in the Anga System
and home to the bartender and bouncer Talbot
who worked at the Capreecik Inn (Level
5, Northside, Unit 2564) on Chancai. Swathed in rich
pink clouds, Anga was also the first Setnin Sector world that Lando
Calrissian first evaded Imperial forces while searching for the smuggler Han Solo. (QFF/ADIL) Angoria IV - Destination of the gambler and
con artiste Alexa Black whilst on
board Jan Lomonas freighter Berone Sunrise. Glann Cipples agent on Angoria IV was Goolib, an old friend of
Lomonas. A densely populated Setnin Sector world filled with
many towering buildings, Angoria IV has been at odds with her neighbouring
system Biltsena for many
generations. (TRAB) Arintak System – World where the spice lord Lall Hander ran his operations
from. Located on the Outer Rim edge of the Setnin Sector, the Arintak System and its primary
world of Arintak were unremarkable
worlds that were bothered with rarely by travellers, warring governments or
tourists. (POW) Arond - One of the Member Planets of the Ki-Ki Sector. Arrarat – Setnin Sector planet where the future assassin Goah Galletti worked as a load-lifter
at the Brintiini Starport. It was on Arrarat that Galletti met his
future wife Tref Goodman. A flat, rocky world, Arrarat was regularly
swathed in violent thunderstorms and was the site of a large ground battle
between Republic and Separatist forces during the later hours
of the Clone Wars. It was here
that Jedi Master Ovo Duplis was shot down by his Clonetrooper
Commander after the fatal Order 66 was given. (FDJH/NHP) Ashta – Setnin Sector jungle homeworld to the native Chimboes, located in the four planet
Ashta System. Their homeworld had been invaded by the Empire and their race decimated
when Chatroot and the Howlrunners,
the renegade team of legend arrived on the planet. After just three raids the Howlrunners
drove the Empire off Ashta, and the Empire later slapped a `too hostile’
order on the planet. Previous to this,
Ashta was the world where Riger
and the force powerful woman Arkensaw
met and fell in love. (DOG) Assor - Ki-Ki
Sector world in the
Three Star Assembly. Atbon – Heavily forested Setnin Sector home to the Eckiti Base and it’s
Ambassador Koorban. (RPG) Atradi
- Home world of the dark Jedi Gordal Anunes.
Mainly a water world, Atradi lies on the Core edge of the Setnin
Sector and is rarely visited.
Atradi was also where the remaining forces of the Ki-Ki mounted their last
assault on Setnin forces in the Battle
of Atradi. (ILIW) Attasid - Ki-Ki Sector world and a member of the Houses of Trade. Attricia – Planet on the Outer Rim edge of the Setnin Sector with green skies and a steady fall of light snow. Jan
Lomona was assisted by Darwyn
T’Reller while on a job for Glann
Cipple. (TR) |
