Planets
Guide - J Jandakana - Star of the Setnin Sector Janduk System. (SC/AOR) Janduk System – Setnin Sector system consisting of five worlds, Janduk I - V. The inner two are terrestrial planets; Janduk III is an acid ball, Janduk IV which is a cool mountainous
world and Janduk V, a gas giant.
The system boasts eleven moons between its worlds. (SC/SDs/AOR) Janduk IV - This cool mountainous Setnin Sector world with a
population of 250,000,000 inhabitants is an industrial, profit-based economy
with no indigenous life forms.
Exporting precious metals and importing foodstuffs for the workers,
surveyors have no doubt that once the mining corporations have had their fill
of Janduk IV, there will probably
be no life on the world again.
Self-appointed Pirate King
Tralat Durge was born and raised in the workers quarters on Janduk
IV. (AOR) Janos - One of the most dangerous worlds in the entire Setnin Sector which has only been
opened to the rest of the sector within the past fifty years. Heated by the red star of Janoui and orbited by three moons Janos is
a fierce culture ruled by Priest Kings
and an all-powerful Emperor Priest. The
dreaded Janos Executioners enforce
all. Regarding all aliens as trouble, Janites are a guarded race, believing
their beliefs and culture to be the `true way’. Tall and lean with all-white eyes and
strange, scaly colourisations running down their backs,
Janites have thin wiry red hair. They
share the planet with the much more timid Grogs. The surface of
Janos is covered by sparse red deserts and rocky plains, which stretch on,
for endless kilometres. Spread over
three vast continents the population of Janos is concentrated in rural areas,
the urban areas being only mildly inhabited. (JOJ/BR/JLSA/RPG) Jarros – Setnin Sector world where Mactin Selka was murdered by Commander
Terrov, and where Pillot
accepted a posting after his stationing on Durathosin. (NHP) Jelido - Planet in the Yatchrare System of the Setnin Sector where Lando Calrissian travelled to finish
some business after he and Jan Lomona
had finished their job on Zelon. (LL) Jobol – Planet on the edge of the Setnin Sector known for its underworld cartel the Paroudin
Cartel. Her prime city Quallaleb sat on the equatorial continent, nestled
in the Habrogean Mountains. The volcanic rock and rust
red sand of the desert floor thousands of meters below contrasted with the
city and the Imperial class spaceport. Quallaleb was at a
crossroads, as much a haven for its desert people as for its
more exotic visitors, and the creds that had made its merchant families fat
had also made the city one of the richest in this corner of the Setnin
Sector. (RAR) Juahaoli - The only slavers world in the Setnin
Sector. Made possible by huge pay
offs to the relevant guilds on Chancai,
Juahaoli profits from its trade and lay in the Laarta System. Junduk IV – Located in the Ki-Ki
Sector and the home of Raca City, a speeder and
swoop racetrack run by Emag
Retsam. Formerly governed by Governor Galgen, Junduk IV is the mountainous location of
some of the hottest swoop jockeys in the galaxy. Governed from the capital city of Junduk Major, Junduk IV was once the primary location for Pod racing in the Mid-Rim until Emag Retsam banned the high-octane sport after a
riot which resulted in the death of two hundred spectators. (SOP/ TLFW/RPG) |
