>>>for star wars gamers the second source book after starships has finally been revealed as threats of the galaxy.  with a striking cover featuring everybody's favourite general, threats comes packed with all manner of people, droids and creatures to help populate your games, for better or worse for your players.  this looks like another quality product from wizards of the coast, and we will have a full review of this product when it hits it release date in may.  in the meantime go to the wizards of the coast site here and enjoy some preview downloadable content from the book.

>>>with only just over a month to go, the biggest thing to hit gaming since the last edition of dungeons and dragons is finally going to hit the stores. like a nasty smell in a small room its presence cannot be escaped the 4th edition release will have such a massive effect on the gaming community that here at Lightsabre roleplay it would be ill-advised to ignore this important release.  so with the first product being the players handbook to be released in june we will be keeping you posted on all the developments up to this date.

>>>we bring news of a new podcast that will be of great use to all players.  d-20 radio is the home of a star wars roleplay podcast hosted by gm dave and gm chris, two dedicated star wars players.  this week sees their 12th podcast which sees them grab an interview with rodney thompson who is one of the saga edition designers at wizards of the coast.  get over there and have a listen, as a lot of what happens behind the scenes at wizards is revealed including news of five new source books to be released by the end of the year including threats of the galaxy in may '08, knights of the old republic, force unleashed and scum and villainy, with the fifth book yet to be announced.  it's great to see two guys supporting the game and we look forwards to many more podcasts from them, and we'll hopefully catch up with them in the future.
