STOCK CHARACTERS

CAMPAIGN CHARACTERS

 

 The following characters are possible individuals the PC’s may come across. The stats presented with each character are based on the original edition rules and will only require a little work to get them to fit into whatever house rules you have in your group. Each character has their own agenda and have been designed for long-term use in an on-going campaign. None of the characters has been designed with a specific location or campaign style in mind. Feel free to change the modus operandi of the character to suit your own game.

 

 

MALC SENURE - Human mercenary who has a knack of finding prime equipment. His network of contacts is varied but dangerous; the network includes two Hutt’s. He has his ear to the underground and also acts as an infobroker when the mood takes him. He dresses in very well kept grey combat fatigues and also puts on a blast vest (+1 energy, +2 blunt, no DEX penalty) when the needs be. He has a long, boyish face and light brown hair that always seems to be falling into his eyes.

MOTIVATION: Credits, mostly, but he will work for less if it means increasing his network.

OBJECTIVES: To make enough credits to retire early.

PERSONALITY: He is cautiously friendly, and will not stick his head out for anyone unless it benefits him.

with 2D shields). 7,300 c’s.

 

 

HEMET AHERN - Sullustian trader who has a tendency to fall the foul side of the law through no fault of his own. He is pristine in his appearance and lifestyle, and tries to get the best paid jobs.

MOTIVATION: He only believes in business.

OBJECTIVES: To purchase his own fleet of transports and become well known.

PERSONALITY: Short tempered. Hemet abhors ill manners and shoddy presentation. He is a whiner when things don’t go right for him.

HEENA - This blue Twi’lek female is a rarity in the known galaxy- she’s free. As most Twi’lek girls are doomed to slavery, she managed to get free of her master by murdering him. Unfortunately, murdering a Hutt, Jiga, brings great repercussions, and she has been running ever since from the two Hutt’s left in the clan, Renko and Halgutta. She tries to hide her headtails under a large hood.

MOTIVATION: She wants to simply ‘disappear’ from public view.

OBJECTIVES: To free herself of the pursuing Hutts and live a life of peace and quiet.

PERSONALITY: She is brash and forthright, distrusting and generally rude.

WEDEK NORSS - Human male officer of any large business security. Middle-aged, with thinning hair and a small moustache. Idealistic when young, but now rather jaded. Wants the best for his organisation but is sick of outsiders (i.e. Imperials) from interfering. Very friendly and helpful but will take some convincing that his employer is even a little corrupt.

MOTIVATION: To do the right thing.

OBJECTIVES: To rise in the ranks and stabilise the organisation from within.

PERSONALITY: He appears cynical, but under that exterior there is a very hopeful man.

HAR’VA’DELL - Almost simian-like bounty hunter from Form. Ruthless and cunning, he is only employed when someone wants someone Dead or Alive - usually Dead. Holds the code dear to his hearts, and will never harm anyone but the target.

MOTIVATION: Reputation.

OBJECTIVES: To get the contract he has always wanted; one where he can impress the ganglords.

PERSONALITY: Hard edged but capable of changing his personality entirely to suit the situation or individual he is dealing with

Starship: the ‘Unprecedented’. As Hypershuttle but with laser cannon

(FC 1d DMG 5d) and 2d shields. 5,200 c’s.

 

 

GUTRON DAWS - Human, ex-Rebellion member. Broke away when his two partners, his brother and his wife, were killed during an operation in the Core Worlds. Convinced that he was betrayed by a mole in the Rebellion and unwilling to give up his position, he has gone out alone against the Empire and the underworld. Efficient and dangerous, he accepts no help and offers none.

MOTIVATION: Revenge.

OBJECTIVES: To locate and destroy what he can of the Empire.

PERSONALITY: Brash, to the point, and very, very sarcastic.

QUICK ONE-OFF CHARACTERS

 

When you need a very quick character but need them in a certain field of expertise, then utilise the list below. Although the stats are incredibly simple, you’ll find they’ll be suitable for an NPC that you need just to fill in a few minutes or maybe even a single game. These characters are not designed for long-term use, and if the GM wishes to make them something more then it will require a little work to add extra details to flesh out the character.

 

SIDDIG - Bothan private detective. Hired by Imperial sympathisers to find cells.

TEMP. TYPE: As Bounty Hunter.

SKILLS: Blaster 4d+2, Streetwise 5d, Search 4d, Brawling 5d                    

EQUIPMENT: Holdout blaster, datapad, medpac, 1,500 c’s.

 

BEJONOIS - Human Starship captain, flies mechanical tools in the Bolder Than Most. Has three crew (all Ugnaughts, called Ecrich, Inrich and Terroch) who do different jobs, all Technician templates.

TEMP. TYPE: Smuggler.

SKILLS: Planetary systems 4d, Starship piloting/shields 5d, Bargain 4d+2

EQUIPMENT: Stock light freighter, blaster pistol, 900 c’s

 

VENDO VINDA - Devaronian male gambler. Plays the best game of Sabacc in the Shattered Zone. At least, that’s what he says.

TEMP. TYPE: Gambler.

SKILLS: Gambling 6d, con 5d

EQUIPMENT: Sabacc cards (loaded), comlink, 22,000 c’s

 

LOOM ONAL - Ex-pilot, now drunkard who bums lifts for work.

TEMP. TYPE: Failed Jedi.

SKILLS: Starship piloting/gunnery/shields 5d (when sober)

EQUIPMENT: Bottle of Corellian whiskey, 10 c’s

 

REDILL KANS - Travelling female human doctor who specialises in infectious diseases.

TEMP. TYPE: Doctor

SKILLS: Disease knowledge 6d, medicine 6d.

EQUIPMENT: Med unit, 2 medpacs, comlink, medscanner, 620 c’s.

 

QUADON ESS NERIF - Human used starship salesman. Suprisingly honest, but can get hold of ‘spurious’ parts.

SKILLS: Technology 5d, Bargain 5d

EQUIPMENT:  Used starship lot, comlink, datapad, 5,400 c’s.

 

BALGA NILI - Human entertainer and songwriter, well known in the Shattered Zone for his anti-Imperial songs.

TEMP. TYPE: Standard human.

SKILLS: Songwriting 6d, Performing 7d.

EQUIPMENT: Sonic lute, datapad, 4,000 c’s.

 

WORSHGA - Wookie starship technician able to correct next to all problems with any vessel.

KYDDA COLI - Female Rodian mercenary who works with anyone she can find, any price any job. And I mean any job.
