The era of stabilisation, development and massive growth
throughout the Setnin Sector. As part of the Republic, the Setnin
Sector thrived and grew to exert a huge influence over her neighbouring
sectors... 2500 years before Battle of Yavin -
The En’K’Far murders the P’ro royal family
and steal their riches, keeping them hidden in a secret location until their
discovery millennia later. 2000 years before
Battle of Yavin -
Shallamballa, Abrogardian religious profit, predicts rainfall on the arid
Verlence Sector world. His predictions
prove to be correct, and it never stops raining. Two thousand years later his prophecy was
celebrated annually by the religious festival of Shallamballa. -
The alien race known as
the Bedois begins an academy on their homeworld of Bedois, later to be
renamed Alganar III. 1875 years before Battle of
Yavin ESTABLISHMENT OF DESANDO
DYNAMICS -
Desando Dynamics begin operating out of the city of Ecaps on the world of
A-desando. Later to become the
pre-eminent starship manufacturer in the Setnin Sector, Desando Dynamics
begins its life as a swoop and speeder builder, later up rating to fighters,
starships and its most popular item, freighters. 1650 years before Battle of
Yavin -
Desando Dynamics successfully launches an orbiting starship yards above the world of
Halando, sister planet to A-desando.
With profits and demand high, the two worlds embark on a project to
make the worlds of the Desando System both rich and successful. -
The Halando government, envious of the success of her sister world, levies a high
taxation on the station yard, causing friction to re-emerge between the
perennially warring worlds. Disgusted
at this turn of events, the president of Desando Dynamics has the yard
ferried back into orbit of A-desando in a geostationary orbit above Ecaps
City. 1542 years before Battle of
Yavin CONSTRUCTION OF COMMODOR
BEGINS -
A conglomerate of starship design companies looking for a world suitable
for expansion and development build on the world of Commodor. With a small population of inhabitants
eager for off-world money and industry to be brought to their world, the flat
arid plains of Commodor are soon replaced by starship repair yards,
construction facilities and skyhooks which link the surface to the massive orbital
yards and capital ship repair stations above. 1238 years before Battle of Yavin -
Arcc Nedeen is born on Bedois. 1200 years before Battle of Yavin CREATION OF THE KI-KI ORDER OF MINDS -
After a long period of relative peace between the systems,
Prime Lord Hundaya Kreaiden, realises that resources are running low. To cut
costs and make money they invest in a simple outmoded communication system
called Enhancers, which amplify the thoughts of telepaths that are rife
throughout the worlds. The Order of the Minds is created to handle all comm.
traffic. 1160 years before Battle of Yavin KI-KI EXPANSION BEGINS -
The new communications layout is not enough to increase
funds so the Prime Lord decrees that other worlds must be sought out and absorbed
by the newly named Ki-Ki Sector. 1100 years before Battle of Yavin -
The Moorsh Conglomerate is invaded by the
Ki-Ki Sector and forced into membership. 1022 years before Battle of Yavin -
The Ruusan Reformation, the name given to this point in galactic history. The Republic
Measures and Standards Bureau reset the galactic calendar producing the most
accurate depiction of galactic time known to the Republic. 1005 years before
Battle of Yavin 1005-BBY -
A Forgotten Conflict
JEDI/BEDOIS CLASH ON BEDOIS -
The Jedi Knights and the Bedois clash for the final time on
Bedois, leaving tens of thousands dead.
Arcc Nedeen is the sole Bedois survivor and despite terrible wounds
flees the planet – taking the life forces of his dead compatriots with him. 1003 years before Battle of Yavin -
Two years after the Jedi – Bedois
confrontation, unlicensed settlers arrive
on Bedois and officially rename it Alganar III. After strange accidents and illnesses wipe
out many of the settlers they swiftly decide to leave. 1000 years before Battle of Yavin QUARANTINING OF ALGANAR III -
The Republic Senate, in conjunction with the Jedi
Council, declares Alganar III a quarantined world. Its location is removed from star charts
and gazetteers and the topic of Alganar III becomes a forbidden subject
throughout the Republic. -
Believing the Sith to be finally extinct, the Jedi
give up the use of battle armour, a symbolic gesture designed to show the
Republic that the Jedi will not become a conquering army. -
The being known as Corlan P’ur creates a Dark Side creature that
is a pure vessel of power by combining Dark Side energies and gene science.
His aim is to create an army of beings with which he could defeat the Jedi. -
Unsatisfied with its position as a servant of the Sith Lord, the creature
attempts revolt. However, it doesn‘t succeed and is trapped and imprisoned by
Corlan P’ur. Unable to make the creature do his bidding, and unable to
destroy it, Corlan P’ur sends it into permanent exile, trapped within a
specialised energy cage. -
Corlan P’urs creature is buried far underground with a self-generating energy
source, on a planet somewhere within the Setnin Sector. 900 years before Battle of Yavin -
The Three Star Assembly, afraid of the Ki-Ki war machine and
what it would do to their population, requests official membership into the
Ki-Ki Sector. 896 years before Battle of Yavin -
Yoda, the
future Jedi Master and teacher of countless Jedi including Anakin and Luke
Skywalker, Zeboden and Ade-arr B’erain is born. 816 years before
Battle of Yavin ESTABLISHMENT OF MODERN CHANCAI TRADE CENTRE -
The first foundations of what is to become the modern Chancai Trade
Centre are laid down on the site where the ancient Zelonians held their first
markets thousands of years before. 803 years before Battle of Yavin DECLARATION OF THE SETNIN COUNCIL -
The Setnin Council is officially
declared. Taking the ancient Chamber
of Systems on the Zelonian moon of Benesk the council is initially made up of
twenty-five systems, but in later years will grow to include many more and
become the political engine that drives the entire sector through wars,
famine and strife. 700 years before
Battle of Yavin -
A horrific plague known as the Death Seed tears through the galaxy,
wiping out and destroying entire sectors of their populations of sending them
back to a Stone Age barbarism. While
managing to avoid the effects of the plague, neighbouring sectors such as the
Ki-Ki and Brother Sectors are affected. 600 years before Battle
of Yavin -
Jabba Desilijic Tiure, otherwise known as Jabba the Hutt, is born to Zorba the Hutt on Nal
Hutta. While never entering the Setnin
Sector, the Hutts activities in later centuries have a great effect on her
citizens, as his actions do in countless other sectors across the galaxy. 550 years before Battle of Yavin
- The Ki-Ki Houses of Trade are created out of newly conquered worlds and control all business with worlds beyond the Ki-Ki borders.
400 years before Battle of Yavin
- On A-desando, four young Jedi trainees, preparing for their final tests to become Jedi Knights, find a Sith artefact. Overcome by its dark power they turned to the dark side and begin a murderous killing spree. They are eventually quelled by fellow Jedi. 350 years before
Battle of Yavin -
The formation of the Trade Federation. A massive conglomeration of various
corporations and special interest groups, among her founding members are the
Neimoidians. Over the years the Trade
Federation becomes a giant in trade and politics and becomes one of the few
non-planetary members of the Galactic Senate. 300 years before Battle of Yavin
KI-KI SECTOR REFUSES OFFER OF ADMISSION INTO THE REPUBLIC

The Ki-Ki Sector refuses membership of
the Republic, instead preferring to stand-alone and determine her own future,
laws and rules.

The Jedi begins to operate the process of one master, one
apprentice. Learning from past history
they decide that a Jedi Knight may only take on one Padawan at a time,
therefore stopping the mass proliferation of sith as has happened in the
past. As a consequence of this, the
numbers of Jedi throughout the galaxy begin to dwindle.
175 years before Battle of Yavin

The Games are created for the entertainment of the
citizens of the Ki-Ki Sector. Once again, lack of resources threatens to
split the sector so Prime Lord Kiri Kreaiden creates staged battles to remind
the citizens of their duty to the sector and to honour the dead who created
the sector. GALACTIC DISGUST AT
KI-KI GAMES - Initially the Games are simple plays, but soon degenerate into genuine deaths and combat in the arenas. The spectacle is condemned by the rest of the galaxy, especially the Republic, and Ki-Ki is all but shunned. 172 years before Battle of Yavin
LEOGARD DISCOVERED

The planet Leogard is discovered by explorers mapping out new sections of the
Setnin Sector. Hidden by a huge dark
dustcloud, the sun of Leogard manages to push its light through the cloud,
giving the planet an eternal twilight. 160 years before Battle of Yavin

Future Jedi Master Zeboden is
born on the world of Crilik in the Wildspace region of the galaxy. 155 years before
Battle of Yavin -
The first geologists arrive on Leogard and begin to test the planet for future
mining operations. -
Zeboden is taken from his homeworld and arrives on
Coruscant for his training under the watchful eye of Yoda and the Jedi
Council. 140 years before Battle of Yavin -
Already apprenticed to an aged Jedi,
Zeboden leaves Coruscant and
journeys to the Setnin Sector, where he begins his formal training as a Jedi. 126 years before
Battle of Yavin -
Zelons government sets down guidelines stating that the already massive
Chancai Trade Centre shall not exceed twenty-two levels and not encroach upon
native Zelonian territories in the jungles of the Mutumbarr Lake region. 107 years before
Battle of Yavin -
The Zelonian government is overthrown and replaced by the greedy
Zelonian Trade Guilds. All previous
rulings governing the expansion of the Trade City are rewritten and
permission is given for Chancai to continue its expansion. Level twenty-three is begun. 106 years before
Battle of Yavin -
The Class Three Haruuga trading vessel later to be owned by Captain
Pellone is launched from the Iralini Shipyards. Ninety years before Battle of Yavin KI-KI AND BROTHER SECTORS STAND-OFF AT THE BATTLE OF
FEDARN -
A border skirmish between the Ki-Ki
Sector and the Brother Sector almost leads to full-scale war but mediators
from the Republic and the Setnin Sector intercede to stop the possible
conflict. -
The Ki-Ki Sector, hoping to use the skirmish as a
justification to take fresh worlds from the Brother Sector, harbour a great
resentment towards both Setnin and the Republic for their interference Eighty years before
Battle of Yavin -
Aurran is activated for the
first time aboard the Republic cruiser Renown III. Seventy-six years before Battle of Yavin DEATH OF BEAYANCE TREASE -
Beayance Trease, ruler
of the Setnin underworld is assassinated. DUZE JOSTENN TAKES CONTROL OF SETNIN UNDERWORLD -
Duze Jostenn steps into the power
vacuum vacated by Trease and takes control of the Setnin Sector
underworld. With huge resources and
contacts, Jostenn runs his activities from his headquarters on Yotil through
the Battle of Naboo, the Clone Wars and the transition of the Republic into
the Galactic Empire. Seventy-two years before Battle of Yavin

Glann Cipple is
born into the Muyaden travelling tribe. Sixty-eight years before Battle of
Yavin BIRTHS OF ADE-ARR B’ERAIN AND ASTORR
GORRE -
The
future Jedi Knight Ade-arr B’erain and his twin brother Add-wan are born in the underground town of Thoden, close to the city of
Hweg Shul on Nam Chorios. -
Astorr
Gorre is born on the remote Setnin world of Tegenar. THE FIGHTING INDIGOS TAKE ON DUZE JOSTENN -
The Fighting Indigos, a
crack squad of soldiers who fought for the Republic as well as for other
organist ions, tackle the newly crowned ganglord Duze Jostenn on his
headquarters on Yotil. Unsuccessful in
their attempt to have him eliminated, they barely manage to escape with their
lives. Sixty-seven years before Battle of Yavin -
Aurran is purchased by the
A-desando Security Forces and sees a massive slice of the Mid-Rim on his
travels. Sixty-two years before Battle of Yavin -
The Muyaden, a race of peaceful travellers searching
for a home enters the Corb Sector and finds the planet Klaem. -
Ade-arr B’erain is taken from his parents on
Nam Chorios by Jedi Master Zeboden when it is discovered that his use of the
force is setting off huge electrical force storms on the planet. He is taken to Coruscant where he studies
the force as a youngling under Master Yoda. Sixty years before Battle of Yavin -
Four infamous warlords flee to the Despot System in the Setnin Sector
and entrench themselves to hide from a common, unseen enemy. They never leave the system again and die
there. -
Eight-year-old Astorr
Gorre
refuses to train on Coruscant, insisting that he wants to stay with his
parents and be normal. -
Jedi Knight Zeboden, the Jedi who
protects the world of Tegenar, informs the Jedi Council on Coruscant of
Astorr Gorre’s decision, saying he will keep a close eye on his
development. The Jedi reluctantly
accept this. -
Narn Giappa Lomona, father of Jan and brother of Ade is born on the
planet Halando, sister world of A-desando in the Desando System. Fifty-seven years before Battle of Yavin -
Guta Cipple, leader of the Muyaden, decides it’s time
for his fifteen year old son Glann son to lead the Muyaden. As his sons first
task as leader he instructs him to meet with Longbody, an ancient alien
inhabitant of Klaem who the Muyaden want off their adopted world. GLANN CIPPLE BETRAYS HIS
FAMILY -
Longbody informs Glann that unless the Muyaden leave they will all die by his hand. Fearful for his own life Glann agrees to
betray his people in return for his life. |
