FOUNDATIONS OF EMPIRES ERA

The era of the Empires push into Setnin and an increased presence in the Mid-Rim.  Taking Chancai as a base, Imperial forces become a familiar sight throughout the territory.  However, the underworld grows...

Twelve years before Battle of Yavin

-         Former Jedi Knight Kilarf-Qui-Lan is caught and executed by the Empire.

-         Darwyn T’Reller meets Jan Lomona for the first time and agrees to pass on her knowledge of smuggling to the eager young A-desandian.

-         Sharn Retgarr, cousin of the smuggler Jan Lomona leaves her homeworld of A-desando and joins a rebel cell, which is operating in the system.

-         Petrol Merritch purchases the D’Dash Decider and opts to stop working for Jomobol Pocock.

-         Finally admitting defeat, Yaboko of the Niekon tribe orders his people to leave their homes and flee into the forest.  Within a matter of hours their former forest home is raised to the ground and construction of Fringe-Mall begins.

PETROL MERRITCH HIRED BY DRESSEL

-         Dressel, impressed by the skills shown by the young Cawbate native, hires Petrol Merritch as a smuggler.

-         Gunman Galindro causes yet more problems for Torona Formoon, embarrassing him in front of Jabba the Hutt.  Formoon swears he’ll get even, but again Galindro escapes.

-         Jan Lomona travels to Vontoon on business for Glann Cipple.

-         Petrol Merritch completes his first run for Dressel, a spice run to the Quarshannel Sector.

THE BELLIRIAN UPRISINGS

-         Jan Lomona takes part in repelling the pirates during the Bellirian Uprisings on Vontoon.  His hot piloting in the Crusader makes a name for him throughout the piloting world.

-         Goah Galletti decides to leave his brothers Hindley and Brush behind and start a new life for himself. 

-         Petrol Merritch arrives on the mega-populated world of Actua Dua for the first time and encounters all manner of events that make him reticent in visiting the planet again in the future.  Unbeknownst to him, these events are orchestrated by Ensonn, Dressels former operative.

-         Goah Galletti arrives on Arrarat.

-         Goah Galletti meets his wife to be Tref Goodman.

12 -BBY - Who Made Who

-         Mantal, a wily smuggler in the employ of Glann Cipple, has his hyperdrive motivator sabotaged whilst out on the Rim by the seventeen-year old smuggler Jan Lomona.  Taking advantage, Lomona completes a vital trade mission to the Vosside Station.

TORONA FORMOON STARTS OPERATIONS ON MOOT

-         Torona Formoon leaves the employ of Jabba the Hutt and makes his way to the Setnin Sector to begin his operations on the planet Moot.  While disappointed, Jabba allows Formoon to go, knowing that he could someday be a useful asset in the Mid-Rim.

-         Darwyn T’Reller meets Petrol Merritch and they come to an agreement – Darwyn’s continued existence in exchange for her knowledge of the spacelanes.  Wisely T’Reller agrees.

-         Jan Lomona travels out to the Livill Station on a job for Glann Cipple.  Whilst there he meets Saah Retgarr with whom he has a brief dalliance, which results in the birth of his daughter Paige who he doesn’t know exists until she seeks him out fifteen years later.

Eleven years before Battle of Yavin

-         Hijjin Lomona takes his first posting aboard the Star Destroyer ISD Vanquo. 

11-BBY – The Crusaders

-         Swoop Rider Brey Yard buys the freighter the Happy Contriver at a used starship auction and takes it away from the Setnin Sector out to Junduk IV in the Ki-Ki Sector.

Ten years before Battle of Yavin

GLANN CIPPLE RETAINS GOVERNORSHIP OF AMAGAD CITY

-         In a closely contested election race Glann Cipple regains control of Amagad City, once again from his hired actor Ansonn.

-         Jur Kopen joins the Setnin Justice Department and begins a long career.

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE TRAC-TRAN TRANSIT COMPANY

-         Jan Lomona starts up a loosely organised smugglers group.  Known as the Trac-Tran Transit Company, Lomona initially works with Laarton, an older more experienced smuggler nearing the end of his running years and Larna, a young woman eager for adventure.

Nine years before Battle of Yavin

-         Joah-Qui-Lan, the future Jedi Knight is born on the planet Yaroobe. 

-         Ensonn manages to wound Dressels operations even further by brokering a deal between Jabba the Hutt and gangsters on Actua Dua, thereby leaving Dressel without a route through that region of space.  Dressel is furious.

-         Fringe-Mall, the huge expansion to the Chancai Trade Centre finally opens its doors for business, four years after initial permission was posted.

DEATH OF LORD TARR RANTH

-         Lord Tarr Ranth dies in ritual battle against his son Tarrion Randelle and bestows upon him the name of Tarr Ranth.  Lord Ranth bequeaths his son his estate, his home and his starship the Dark Star, which the younger Ranth leaves in storage.

GRAND MOFF GALGEN ASSUMES CONTROL OF KI-KI SECTOR

-         Governor Galgen of Junduk IV is promoted to the rank of Grand Moff and assumes control of the dangerous Ki-Ki Sector.

-         Tarr Ranth joins CorSec and trains with, amongst others, Hal Horn.

-         Grand Moff Galgen encounters the dark-side user Arcc Nedeen for the first time on the Trade City of Chancai.

8-BBY - T'Rellers Run

-         Darwyn T’Reller returns to her home planet of Tatooine and the township of Mos Banely to open a tapcafe, the Struggling Jawa, and begin her reintegration into normal life.

-         Gale Fender, a gangster working on the edges of the Setnin Sector, acquires a trade route that leads partway towards the Core Worlds.  Intrigued by its potential he actively seeks to find more routes.

-         Dessio D’Staan has an affair with a beautiful young serving girl called Tessa Hasaad at his Abrogardian headquarters.  In fact she is a rebel sleeper agent called Mikla Dewken and the man posing as her broken hearted husband is fellow rebel Muir Akaan.  Together they are searching for possible locations for a rebel base in the Core Worlds.

-         Glann Cipple, operating under the cover identity of Mister Gold, finds his operation to divert money and funds from the Zelon Intergalactic Trustee Society thwarted by the unknowing actions of Dogtooth Fford, an employee of Z.I.T.S.  Fford’s endeavours cost Cipple millions.

-         Gale Fender begins to thread together the many routes he has gained and manages to test a run from Druckenwell in the Mid-Rim to Froz in the Inner Rim.

-         Ensonn causes more bother for Dressel when he diverts and hijacks a consignment of DL-3 bound for the Rim.

-         Muir Akaan, posing as Tessa Hasaad’s wronged husband Leightie is fatally wounded by a woman called Ultrice who attempts to execute D’Staan for the death of her own husband in a firefight whilst working for him.  Ultrice is shot dead by D’Staan’s right-hand man Menno Mannack.

-         Mikla Dewken admits to being a rebel agent and apologises to D’Staan, telling him that she really did love him but that her fight to free the galaxy of the Empire was more important.  D’Staan allows her to leave.

-         Gale Fender completes his patchwork array of runs and successfully sends a cargo unhindered from Sluis Van to Sacorria. 

-         Agents of Jabba the Hutt alert the Tatooine ganglord of Fenders success.  Angered, the Hutt orders further investigation into the new route, and Fender.

Seven years before Battle of Yavin

-         Starship Captain Pellone travels to the co-ordinates in the Quarshannel Sector given to him by Dressel and awaits their meeting.

7-BBY - Dark Cargo

-         Lieutenant Terrov is posted to the ISD Malevolent and assumes the position of second-in-command under Grand Moff Galgen.

-         Tarr Ranth, operating as a CORSEC operative, comes across The Hawk, an armoured woman who he confronts and is bested by, but not before imprinting her face on his mind.

-         Jabba the Hutt summons Jan Lomona and Latti Tellex to Tatooine.

-         Jan Lomona and Latti Tellex are sent to the central Imperial world of Coruscant on a four-day mission for Jabba the Hutt.

7-BBY – Eight Sexes I Don’t Understand

-         Jan Lomona and Latti Tellex leave Coruscant eager to avoid the attentions of Gale Fenders operatives.

-         Petrol Merritch travels towards the Outer Rim world of Actua Dua on a mission for his employer Dressel.

7-BBY – Just Another Face in the Crowd

-         Arroth Quenn busts a DL drug smuggling ring on the planet Tesser.

-         En route back to Tatooine to report back to Jabba the Hutt, Jan and Latti stop off in the Setnin Sector where business matters and avoiding Fenders men eats up a week of their time.

Six years before Battle of Yavin

-         Jan Lomona and Latti Tellex finally return to Tatooine to inform Jabba the Hutt of their mission to Coruscant.  Pleased with their efforts, the Hutt gives Jan an assignment.  Travel across the planet to Mos Banely and collect a hold full of cargo, to be brought back to the Palace of the Hutt.

6-BBY - Jan Lomona and the Six to Go

JAN LOMONA BUYS THE BERONE SUNRISE

-         Jan Lomona sells his starship the Crusader after his troubles on Tatooine and buys the Berone Sunrise at a starship auction for a knock down price.  Many years later the Crusader ends up in the hands of Glann Cipple.

TARR RANTH BEGINS BOUNTY HUNTING CAREER

-         Tarr Ranth embarks upon his bounty-hunting career and travels in his ship the Prodigal Son towards the Mid-Rim and the Setnin Sector.

-         Goah Galletti and Tref Goodman marry and move to Cantarr Bi Romou.

GEON TASAR BEGINS NEW OPERATIONS ON WEAKTREEN

-         Geon Tasar leaves the employ of Dressel and sets up a new operation on Weaktreen.

-         Weale Galletti is taken in by the Shadow Warrior Academy on Ferrerea at the age of eight and begins her training.

6-BBY – Early Days

-         Boba Fett takes missions in the Core Worlds and tells of Tarr Ranths attempts to blackmail him two years before, thereby besmirching Ranths name and character.  As a consequence, Ranth is rarely hired outside the Mid-Rim.

-         After a night enjoying the high spots of Chancai’s nightlife, Luschia Arkensaw and Grand Moff Galgen enjoy a night of passion, resulting in Luschia’s pregnancy.

-         Rondosarn agrees to take the swoop rider Skeet Jonas from his home on Tatooine to the world of Junduk IV in the Ki-Ki Sector.

6-BBY – Shadows of the Past

-         Grand Moff Galgen hears of the existence of his son, Skeet Jonas.  Angered at this discovery he sends troops out to find him.

-         Tecor Heloosh accepts the recently vacated position as Dressels number two and arrives on Cawbate to begin his work.

-         Grand Moff Galgen takes brief possession of Raca City on Junduk IV for a time whilst searching for his son Skeet Jonas.

Five years before Battle of Yavin

-         Suselow, whilst working for the ganglord Dressel, agrees to take a job that leads her to the world of Nogard.

-         Ansonn, the actor hired by Glann Cipple to run against him in the Amagad City elections, meets a sticky end in a smelting accident.  Publicly shocked by his death, Cipple starts a college fund in his name.

5-BBY – The Chance of Promotion

-         Suselow leaves Nogard and keeps a low profile.

-         Lieutenant Terrov reveals Grand Moff Galgens illegal use of dark force user Arcc Nedeen to the Imperial authorities. 

EXECUTION OF GRAND MOFF GALGEN

-         Betrayed and stripped of rank and title, Galgen is taken to Imperial Centre where he is executed.

-         Newly installed as captain, Captain Terrov of the ISD Malevolent is posted to patrol the Soluman Delta Gulf.

-         Boba Dallagra is part of a bungled raid on a spice refinery on Cantarr-Bi-Romou.  Despite being well placed to apprehend him Captain Terrov allows him to escape with the intention of using him in the future.

-         Trace Dallagra agrees to hire Suselow as her assistant at Dallagra Lawyers Services on Chancai.

-         While on Cantarr Bi Romou Captain Terrov takes a fancy to Tref Goodman, wife of Goah Galletti. 

GOAH GALLETTI’S WIFE MURDERED

-         Captain Terrov abducts Tref Goodman and kills her when she resists his advances. Terrov first comes into contact with Goah Galletti at this time.

DEATH OF DESSIO D’STAAN

-         Dessio D’Staan dies of lung cancer on Abrogard.  Only his closest allies learn of his demise and his teenage daughter Armella immediately succeeds him.

-         Captain Terrov and the ISD Malevolent are sent to the Yatchrare System to patrol the world of Zelon.

5-BBY – The Lawyers and the Lawless

GLANN CIPPLE'S FIRST GENETIC EXPERIMENTS

-         Glann Cipples chief scientist Professor Doc Harrys begins experimenting with DNA in an attempt to create creatures for use by Cipple.

-         After an invitation from his good friend Dap Teks, Jan Lomona attends an official function that’s also attended by Captain Terrov on Chancai.  The party descends into a debauched, raucous event, which Lomona loves.

-         Goah Galletti leaves Cantarr Bi Romou in the Galaxion and journeys to Amagad, hoping to gain employment with infamous ganglord Glann Cipple.

REMOVAL OF GRAND MOFF DACARTCHEN

-         Grand Moff Dacartchen is removed from office amid a sex scandal involving an underage Twi'lek.

-         Imperial Officer Ryath Centaur is posted to the Setnin world of Erinson.
