SHEU HO-TRAVI INVESTED AS GOVERNOR OF CHANCAI

-          Sheu Ho-Travi is made Governor of Chancai, Overseer of the Central Zone and Pro Consulate of the Occupied Worlds.

-          Travi marries his lover Ambassador Klite and together they take up residence in Chancai’s upper levels.

38+ ABY – A Soldier of Fedarn

-          Tar Ranth, clone of Tarr Ranth returns to the career of his predecessor and begins bounty hunting.  Accepting a quarry from the Guild of Bounty Hunters he chases down his target.

-          Governor Sheu Ho-Travi suggests the idea of bringing slavery to the Setnin Sector, starting with the populace of Chancai.  Wishing to slowly introduce their ways to the region, Ki-Ki’s leaders reject the idea...for the time being.

38+ ABY – The Return

-          Tar Ranth goes undercover for three weeks in an effort to track down and apprehend his latest quarry, his twisted dark side nephew Aaron De’Athe.

38+ ABY – The Crossroads

-          By order of the Ki-Ki, the citizens of the Chancai Trade Centre and the larger region of Chancai itself are forced to begin repairs to the huge city in preparation for the visit of Prime Lord Atheus.

-          By cover of night a group known only as the Shadows begin striking back at the Ki-Ki.  Condemned as a mere group of nuisance militants, the Ki-Ki expends little effort hunting them down.

BROTUS RETURNS TO THE KI-KI

-          Newly promoted Fleet Commander Brotus returns to the front line of the Ki-Ki with his newly attached mechanical appendages.

-          With a sizeable fleet remaining, the S.D.F regroups on the edge of Setnin space to plan their next move.

38+ ABY - Origins

-          Almost all remaining Setnin Sector worlds send formal acceptance to the new ruling Ki-Ki order, accepting their presence in the sector.  Tellingly, the S.D.F does not.

-          The Galactic Alliance sends a Jedi Knight to assess the situation on Zelon.

-          In a communiqué to his Prime Lord, Fleet Commander Cathum tells Atheus that the Ki-Ki control over ninety percent the sector through the occupation of the Chancai Trade Centre, and the few remaining worlds are closing their borders for fear of attracting the Ki-Ki’s attention.

38+ ABY – State of Play

-          Lord Raven takes his Mon Calamarian cruiser and journeys to the Garyra Station in order to meet with Iron Claw leader Ryath Centaur and, Trac-Tran Transit Company head Jan Lomona.

SETNIN-LOYAL GALACTIC ALLIANCE FORCES ATTACK

-           Assisted in large part by TTTC and Iron Claws, Galactic Alliance forces loyal to the Setnin Sector break away from the larger, inactive Galactic Alliance and begin their fight against the Ki-Ki, joining Squadron Indigo.

-          More and more underworld smugglers agree to run for the TTTC, knowing its reputation and eagerness to repel Ki-Ki forces and bring free trade back to Setnin.

38+ ABY – The Vacation

-          Frans Latka receives a lettersearch which she leaves sitting on her coffine table for two days before opening it.  Once read, she begins to go through items and lists from her past in preparation for a secret meeting with a mysterious person.

-          Terrie Saffra arrives on A-desando in secret, smuggled in through the underground.

38+ ABY – Low Profile Life

-          Frans Latka is inserted into the Ki-Ki underworld as a spy for the Setnin Sector.

38+ ABY – A Thickening Plot

-          Tar Ranth arrives at the Slings Hotel and scopes it out in order to apprehend Kea Verona, a member of the now defunct Peace Brigade who sold out the Jedi to the Yuuzhan Vong during the invasion a decade before.

-          The gunboat Colossus enters an uncontested region of the Soluman Delta Gulf, and allows Jan Lomona and Ryath Centaur to dock aboard for a security meeting with fellow S.D.F staff.

38+ ABY – My Name is Ranth

38+ ABY – Belly of the Beast

-          Lord Raven asks Jan Lomona and Ryath Centaur to rescue Captain Mendip Khan from his capture by the Ki-Ki after the end of the Battle of Zelon.

-          Jan Lomona and Ryath Centaur, with the help of Tar Ranth, rescue Captain Mendip Khan, despite the fact that Khan knew about the loss of the Star Destroyer and had sworn to inform Lord Raven of the fact.

RAVEN CORPORATION OPT FOR NEUTRALITY

-          Angered at his friend Lomona’s lie concerning the ISD, Lord Raven has second thoughts about which side he has chosen.  For the time being, the Raven Corporation elects to remain neutral.

-          The remaining Setnin Council and S.D.F regroup in an uneasy alliance of planetary governors, elected leaders, powerful business cartels and gang lords under temporary Governor of Chancai Trace Dallagra and S.D.F head Tannis Rixx.

-          Tannis Rixx gives Ryath Centaur the S.D.F rank of Colonel, the same rank he held in the Imperial Army, and entrusts him with the authority to command large forces and formulate battle plans.  Ryath is pleased to accept.

TANNIS RIXX ENLISTS FERREREANS

-          A delegation from the Setnin Council, including Tannis Rixx and Ryath Centaur visits Ferrerea and persuades them to join the defence of Setnin.  Much to everyone’s surprise, Rixx’s thoughtful words are enough to persuade the Ferrereans to agree.

-          To ensure their resources and support, Tannis Rixx returns to his homeworld of Janos to galvanise his people in the defence of Setnin against all outsiders. Initially he is met with uncertainty and indifference but eventually sways Janite minds.

JANOS AND FERREREA FORM ALLIANCE

-          The Ferrereans form a fighting partnership with their old enemy the Janites and pledge their loyalty to the S.D.F and the cause to free Setnin from the Ki-Ki.

BATTLE OF COMMODOR - FIRST MAJOR VICTORY FOR S.D.F

GENERAL TYRAHH DEFECTS TO THE S.D.F

-          General Tyrahh, tired of watching the decimation of Setnin from the sidelines, quietly leaves the Galactic Alliance and joins the S.D.F as a high-ranking aide to Tannis Rixx, retaining her rank of General.

-          The joint Janite/Ferrerean fleet enters Ki-Ki space and begins immediate attacks on fringe worlds of the Ki-Ki Sector.

TANNIS RIXX BECOMES LORD PROTECTOR OF JANOS

-          Believing the Emperor Priest to still be in thrall of the Minds and the Ki-Ki, Tannis Rixx returns to Janos and kills him, becoming Lord Protector of Janos in the process, therefore separating church from state on his homeworld.

-          The Ki-Ki attempt to consolidate their position as Setnin pressure increases.  With more Janite/Ferrerean raids, S.D.F pressure and planetary revolts, the Ki-Ki look for ways to sustain the war effort on a military and financial basis and destroy the S.D.F once and for all.

-          Droven Ondoss and the Lady Raven enter into an agreement whereby Raven will supply funds and weapons to the Ki-Ki in exchange for tactical information.  However, the deals sours for Raven and she soon finds herself blackmailed by Travi.

BLAKE DE’ATHE AND THE SETNIN JEDI JOINS FORCES WITH IRON CLAWS, TTTC AND INDIGO

-          Blake De’Athe and his Setnin Jedi agree to formerly assist the TTTC, the Iron Claws and Squadron Indigo in whatever way they can.

-          Immediately, Setnin Jedi forces under the command of Blake De’Athe move into Ki-Ki occupied worlds and begins an offensive.

-          Lady Raven and Droven Ondoss embark upon an affair behind the back of Ravens husband Daemon Garr.

SETNIN FIGHTS DIRTY

-          With the Iron Claws riding shotgun with the TTTC behind enemy lines, Squadron Indigo and other Setnin-loyal Galactic Alliance forces are inserted into hot zones, free to wreak havoc on Ki-Ki forces.  Empty TTTC bulk freighters are converted into mobile launch platforms for these strike teams, and many sorties are launched.

-          Janite/Ferrerean raids continue in Ki-Ki space.

RYATH CENTAUR BRINGS CAPITAL SHIPS TO BEAR

-          Ryath Centaur brings in to play his ISD’s and VSD, capital ships that have been guarding Hellion as per his agreement with Tryxlla, the Hellion Queen, to protect the non-affiliated planet.

-          Seeing the need for their involvement Queen Tryxlla agrees to them being utilised and the three ships leave Hellion orbit to join the fight.

FRANS LATKA BEGINS TO SEND INTELLIGENCE BACK TO S.D.F

-          Six months after her immersion into the Ki-Ki underworld, Frans Latka is contacted by S.D.F agents and sends information back to Setnin regarding Ki-Ki ship and troop movements.

-          After nine years of skirmishes and four years of all-out war, the remaining members of the Setnin Council convene within the Foron Dustcloud.

-          It’s agreed that uniting Setnin is the only way to defeat the Ki-Ki.  But first, though they despise the thought, the non-affiliated worlds declare their intentions to apply for Galactic Alliance membership, intending to take the whole of the Setnin Sector under the umbrella of the Galactic Alliance and once again attempt to shame the Galactic Alliance into joining the war.

GALACTIC ALLIANCE STILL REFUSE TO ENTER CONFLICT

-           Galactic Alliance officials see through Setnin’s ploy and refuse the non-affiliated world’s application for membership, not wanting to get embroiled in this war at such a mature stage in the proceedings.

RAVEN CORPORATION DEAL SOLELY WITH KI-KI

-          The Raven Corporation, disillusioned with the lack of honesty and transparency from their Setnin allies, makes the decision to come out of its neutral stance and side with the Ki-Ki, who appear to be winning the conflict.  Basing the decision purely on a business footing, Lord Raven is also deeply disillusioned with the actions of his former Setnin allies.  His aim is to remain neutral to the outside world, in order to take control of an expanse of the Setnin Sector to create a new, smaller Corporate Sector.

-          With infighting within the Setnin Council, Trace Dallagra and Tannis Rixx agree on a rescue mission into Ki-Ki space to return Ocern Gabe to the Setnin Council, the only man they believe can prevent the S.D.F alliance from fracturing. 

FAILED RESCUE OF OCERN GABE

-          The Lady Raven of the Raven Corporation provides intelligence to the Ki-Ki of the attempted rescue mission, ensuring that the retrieval team fails and that Gabe is not rescued.

SETNIN COUNCIL SPLINTERS

-          Following the failed rescue attempt of Gabe, the Setnin Council splinters.  Some side with pro-Ki-Ki factions, some with the independent Setnin worlds, and the rest to the underworld or small political factions. 

-          Despite the failing of the Setnin Council, Trace Dallagra and Tannis Rixx manage to hold onto a core force of fighters, including Squadron Indigo, the Iron Claws, the TTTC, the Setnin Jedi and the Janites/Ferrerean alliance, which now operates as a unified and efficient guerrilla army.

KI-KI VICTORY AT VAROONE

-          S.D.F forces suffer a crushing defeat at the hands of the Ki-Ki in a planet-wide battle on land, air, sea and space that knocks confidence in the resistance and causes the loss of tens of thousands of troops.

JAN LOMONA SENDS A MESSAGE

-          Worried that the tide is turning against the Setnin Sector at such a crucial point in the war, Jan Lomona sends a message out into the ether, desolate at the disappearance of his daughter Paige, the loss at Varoone and the splintering of the council.

KI-KI PROMISE RAVEN CORPORATION SETNIN WORLDS

-          In exchange for a slice of the Setnin Sector, including the potentially lucrative Zelon System and the world of Leogard, Lady Raven offers to further increase the bankroll to the Ki-Ki and provide additional ships.  Lord Atheus agrees to this offer, eager to further swell the war coffers.

HEED MARK II LAUNCHED

-          The Heed Mark II is launched after four years of construction from the Foron Dustcloud and immediately hits lightspeed, destined for Mantin VII, where it’s handed over to Tannis Rixx to command in battle.

KI-KI ATTACK HEED CONSTRUCTION SITE

-          Ki-Ki intelligence agents learn of a Setnin fleet massing near Mantin VII, the location of a historic battle against the Empire thirty-five years before.

GALACTIC ALLIANCE LOYAL SETNIN WORLDS JOIN THE S.D.F

-          Worlds loyal to the Galactic Alliance that had so far stayed out of the conflict agree to join the S.D.F in its fight against the oppressors and send vessels and troops to Mantin VII and the fleet that has gathered there.

-          Ki-Ki commanders bring a large bulk of the invasion fleet together and set their co-ordinates for Mantin VII.

SECOND BATTLE OF MANTIN

-          Battle is joined over Mantin VII between Ki-Ki forces and the impressive Setnin fleet, now boasting not only the power of the non-affiliated worlds but also that of the Galactic Alliance loyal planets who had so far stayed clear of the conflict, the Setnin-loyal Galactic Alliance forces who had defected to fight for Setnin two years before, the Iron Claws and their three capital ships, Blake De’Athe’s Setnin Jedi and the various forces of the underworld. The battle rages in space and on the surface of the planet.

-          Despite the odds seemingly being in their favour, the Ki-Ki’s superior tactical know-how manages to gain the upper hand and soon the larger Setnin fleet is being hit hard and forced back.

-          Tannis Rixx decides now is the time to bring the Heed II into play and brings her from around the other side of Mantin VII’s moon. 

-          Surprised at the appearance of the Heed II cutting through their lines the Ki-Ki forces continue to fight as hard as they can, but it soon becomes clear that they are no match for this behemoth and back off, heavily damaged and wounded.

-          Prime Lord Atheus, enraged at the retreat, orders his forces to counter attack. Cathum, now also commanding part of the fleet, refuses; knowing that what is left of their ships is no match for the Heed II or the other capital ships under Setnin command.

-          Prime Lord Atheus orders Cathum arrested as a traitor.  Cathum, sick and disillusioned with the entire conflict, does not resist.

-          As Cathum is taken, he calls out to Dagger, shouting Arkin's name and calling for him to remember his father and who he is.

EXECUTION OF CATHUM

-          Cathum is executed for his insubordination.

-          Dagger, after much searching, retrieves the memory of his father’s execution and the fact that his true name is Heocos. He leaves the Ki-Ki fleet, throwing it into disarray and making it an easy target for Setnin forces.

SETNIN CELEBRATES MAJOR VICTORY AT THE BATTLE OF MANTIN VII

-          With an allied Setnin Sector behind him, the Janites doing what they initially pledged to do nine years ago before the Minds intervention and with a second Heed at his command, Tannis Rixx leads the fleet to victory in the Battle of Mantin VII against superior Ki-Ki forces. 

PRIME LORD ATHEUS VOTED OUT OF POWER

-          With backing of Ki-Ki's System Barons, Prime Lord Atheus is removed as leader of the Ki-Ki.
